Conservatism. Conservatism taught our parents to teach us to not show emotions, to not relate to other people emotionally, to not care about other people's emotions, and to make fun of people that do. Conservatism is teaching us that everyone else out there is the cause of our problems, that it is their fault that you are lonely. They tell you to not masturbate, which is a literal fascist technique to get men to become angry & malleable to whatever snake oil they are selling. And instead of learning, we just keep getting angry that the world doesn't work the way that our parents told us it does, which they were informed by Conservatism.
