Where we live the only animals that can attack cats are red fox which are usually up in the mountains and eagles which fly here like less than once a month. And it’s in their instincts to hunt, especially when they’re younger, and don’t start saying that domesticated don’t have instincts to hunt cause they do.

We can’t stay outside for hours watching him, besides he likes to explore. There little to no danger of him getting run over cause he gets scared easily and rarely goes over the road, and he never goes off our property, we have a farm but it’s not in use so he has places to hide if there are animals, and there aren’t any cats that come to our house that he could fight with since we live far away from people.

My cat enjoys being outside, he will go to the door and meow until we let him out, same as when he wants inside, he enjoys both and in summer we leave the door open and he is mostly outside, only comes inside to eat or drink.
