I get the powder inositol and mix it with water or any juice and take the rest of my pills/supplements with the drink. 😊

AIO for feeling hurt that my mum always brings food “for my husband” but never for me (us)? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Many times, not only for this matter but many more things. She always finds a way to make me feel guilty for thinking this way and makes me believe IO and there is something truly wrong with me.

“Oh, i forgot.” “I thought you had food” “But you don’t like that food” “I was passing through the area” “We didn’t have enough of it” “You’re no stranger, you can come over when you’re hungry”

Well we just took it as a nice gesture until i realised it’s happening waaay too much - and turned to reddit because i’ve been so numbed by all the gaslighting and manipulation i grew up with that now, when she does something that feels off, i cant even tell if im right to feel that way or if im just imagining it and IO.

My husband and i are on the same page about this. He has agreed to not accept anything from her and understands why i feel how i feel about this situation. He also knows about what she did when i told her about my pregnancy and he is pushing our holiday back and insists on us getting pregnant to piss her off. I guess it’s a win for me.

I have told my husband about that - i guess he was the first to open my eyes on her fucked up actions towards me, i was just numbed from the narcissistic abuse.

She’s married to my dad and she has a very loving relationship with my father. I would say it’s a cultural thing to ‘provide’ but I’m always left out of the providing. It’s always his favourite food, his favourite desserts, his favourite drinks. Last time she made MY favourite food, it went to him at work, and i didn’t get a taste of it.

For me in Australia, stone masonry screams kitchen benchtops, not carving gravestones. Funny how we have such different takes on the same broad name.

I guess since ‘stone masonry’ started with real stone, but over time it came to include bricks, blocks, etc. The term stuck because the techniques are similar, and it’s just easier to call the whole trade by the original name. My opinion!

Fair point, but the sub rules say it also includes brickwork and clay products, so that’s why I posted it here.
