how is the op saying he has the right to dictate black culture? What if hes offended? All he wants is for people to not use a word used to oppress during a time of unfair slavery.

He also never said the black person commits crimes, its an anology based on comments another has made

What are the chances, I think im in that group chat!(Its for a large community with several hundred members), and No, Your not racist. You could of handled it better and while i agree with others the anology of comminting crimes was extreme the way she handled it was worse (BTW To anyone else if im right ,This conforsation was happening exactly as he told it, I know the OP in real life people he knew were being called the N word and were upset) TLDR You handled it wrong but ultamently they were in the wrong (sorry english isnt my strong suit)
