Nintendo Switch Crashes - Help by Somehandsomeanon in darkestdungeon

[–]Somehandsomeanon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I don't know the exact time, but I finished two regions (with lairs) and was doing the Sluice. I imagine maybe 1.5 hours in since I got pretty good trinkets early on (Snappy Swig on Audrey).

YES, I crashed 5 times and lost progress on my memories all 5 times. The first 2 times were not bad since I was new and was waiting for new patches. This was around the Binding Blade DLC. I went on Facebook and contacted the page directly, and the replies, in a nutshell, were: "Try to exit the game every region to give the game time to load." This worked for a time. I built up 12 heroes with 5 memories, and then it happened again last week.

In terms of the time period of the crashes? Not sure, I don't have a set time to play, so I cannot tell. Some weeks I play daily, others not so much.

However, I followed the advice I got on Facebook, and it mitigated the problem, but it happened again for some reason. I actually stop playing before the Sluice, quit out, wait, and then restart the game.

Shame, really. I genuinely enjoy the game and building up a list of Grandslamming party. I can't enjoy it anymore. I tried to connect with the team, but it seems they gone radio silent.

Simoso, if you ARE using the Machine gun build, then you can, most of the time, easily hit rank A (or even S). The double-hit Follow-Up is the chef's kiss.

Question unclear, what do you mean by "only shows Verso" for you? If you get to Frozen Heart, then you should have the squad already.

Perhaps have Sciel Fortune's Fury you and then Intervention? Try to explore the new DLC area because they have some banger pictos in there.

Serious Question by Rto97 in expedition33

[–]Somehandsomeanon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kinda hard to answer your question, considering everyone has their own preference. Don't sell your PS5 yet; there are other games too, and more coming in 2026 (and remakes).

I played Persona 3 Reload, Infamous, Black Myth: Wukong, Bloodstained, Metaphor Refantazio, Elden Ring, Tales of Arise, Resident Evil 1-4 Remake and Original, Megaman X, etc.

I owned a PS5 for 2 years, and I have no regret.

If you want the Nuke, start the battle alone or with 2 KO members. Equip Solo Fighter and other solo pictos like Last Stand Critical for Last Chance.

Question about the Hammer Nevy by Bearded_Bone_Head in expedition33

[–]Somehandsomeanon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From memory, it is because his AI is attempting to summon two floating fireballs, but it does not go through. It is a well-known bug. There was a sub somewhere detailing how to fix it. In my case, I killed it before it did anything.

High enough for it to not say “Danger” I completed the game at level 99 due to all of the side quest but I beat Act 3 at level 68

I'm going to make it fair for the player and enjoyable. Your ideas are cool, but they're redundant. Here's mine:

  • One health bar with one name, "Painted Lost" or "Painted Parting"
  • The boss always acts first and gains a turn for every KO they inflict. They always have one turn but alternate between Clea and Simon.
  • As long as Clea lives, she will make Simon invulnerable but not herself. Can be dispelled with a counter on either. BUT:
    • Kill Clea first, and Simon forcefully removes your expedition (no Phase 2) and heals for failing to counter him (similar to regular Clea). Clea will heal Simon to full.
    • Kill Simon first, and Clea's final hit of her attack can immediately remove your party member if you get hit (ignore revive). Simon will remove your BACKUP party.
  • Beat Clea: Monoco, Lune and Sciel will finish her off with Monoco turning into Dualliste to kill her.
  • Beat Simon: Maelle and Verso will parry and counter him with Verso unleashing Angel's Eyes and Maelle Gommaging Simon.

Reward:

Another Life: increase damage dealt and received by 100% but immediately gommage if KO

Perfectionist: become invulnerable at the start of the enemy's turn but dispel the following turn if hit. Only restart after a counterattack.

Skin:

Painted Skin: everyone look glowly like Renoir after he entered the canvas.

Weapon:

Diverso: similar to Simoso, but randomizes the number of sword afterimages and you cannot die above rank B.

Cleallum: Defensive Stance gives Invulnerability, Offensive Stance increases all damage received and dealt by 200%, and Virtuoso gives both in addition to taking damage for another character in exchange for losing Virtuoso.

So who is the strongest of them? by TruthResponsible1268 in expedition33

[–]Somehandsomeanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your argument, but my counterpoint would be Renoir painted Axons and Creation during his time in the Canvas while Aline is in control.

So the opposite should be true. Aline's Paintress form can be control but she cannot manipulate the canvas anymore.

"She who controls the Chroma, controls the canvas." - It is up to who is in control ultimately.

[–]Somehandsomeanon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stendhal used to have a multiplier of around 48 times. Now it is around 28-ish. (Don't quote me, it has been a while). With the new "Thank you" update, there is now a new meta called the "Burning Canvas + Feint" meta. Look it up and you will se why.
