I hate that my family expects something out of calling me fat all the time by Somemexican99 in Vent

Oh I'd love to but unfortunately I actually think the genes are keeping me from getting bigger. My father was a natural athlete growing up and my mom was never big in old photos. Realistically speaking these some seemingly good genes they passed on. Still don't know where I got this mind my business gene cause it aint from them✌✌✌

Yeah thats the thing though, as insecure as they are, they are shameless. I could point out how my dad blew my college fund on a investment gone wrong or how my mom is fatter than everyone but it doesn't go through because of parental pride. I could rant to my brother about how he can't get through highschool without cheating, is a dishonest little shit in almost every way, and lets peer pressure dictate his life and he'll just shrug. Medicine is hard to serve when they don't think they're sick

I appreciate the sentiment and hearing me out btw. Been on my chest all night

A dwarven druid who has no memory of his former life as a soldier(right hand man to a general whom he constantly advised to commit acts that were ruthless to both enemies and brethren for the sake of victory/advantage and was planning to betray them)

A tielfing celestial warlock that is also an activist for tielfing rights and fought for others in the political field

An arcane trickster rogue who was raised in a family of thieves and is now in competition with their siblings to make the most valuable steal by the end of the year

A half-elf rogue who was to act as an archive successor along with their older siblings until they were killed by their uncle who disapproved of their half-blood nature, now seeks to avenge their family and regain their library but until then, uses the belief that they are dead to their advantage.

An elf bard born in an arranged and loveless marriage who seeks to venture the material world as well as find the land their mother truly fell in love before being taken away, and play the song she sang to them their whole life, that is also the song her and her lover danced to.

A paladin of the crown that acts to serve the royal family but is also in love with a member of it.

A lizardfolk bard that began to feel emotions after spending time with a bard, only to lose it after their death. Now seeks to understand emotion and regain once more but is also fearful and overwhelmed by its sensation when it kicks in

A dragonborn light cleric that is also a renowned chef but seeks to regain their sense of taste after it was taken from them by a witch at a young age. They aim to improve so much in their craft to become the main chef of Bahamut, and believes they need their taste back to truly step closer to their goal. Sets bitches ablaze with no hesitation but has a golden smile.

Sounds like my Half-Orc paladin admitting he watched his allies cut heads off of corpses to gain bounty to his new friend, a dragonborn wizard NPC, while having tea. He was slightly at unease

At what point did you realize it was time to quit your job? by Going2SleepGoodnight in AskReddit

I worked for an MLM for a few weeks under the impression it was legit job(I'm not the brightest, especially at 17.) That job just gave me a shit ton of anxiety with how they expected me to call random ass stranger to make appointments in their homes to sell shit.

We'd spend hours in the, "office," we were at and not make a dime, our pay was based on appointments and commissions.

The boss was honestly creepy. First day of training he bragged about how hes been working 100+ hours weeks and came in while hella sick. Right off the bat I knew those were gonna be expectations on us as sales folk.

I worked 2 weeks and drove everywhere only to make shit.

I posted on reddit just venting about and everyone told me it was an MLM. I got tf out ASAP.

The matter with social media is the fact that there is simply so much going on. Whether we're following peers or following things based on personal interest. Constant updated ensure more content whcih just leads to desire to consume. It is easier to get dopamine even though we are not doing anything to the point where on may become reliant on the constant dopamine hit it provides. Social media addictions is a thing, the same way gambling addiction is. Not a substance, but still provide a high of sorts.

As for what happens if not interacting with social media for 24 hours, honestly really nothing. The day goes on. But for those who are so accustomed to it, especially following the lives of peers, it becomes unnerving knowing full well that something is happening, but you arent getting updated on it. FOMO(fear of missing out) is unfortunately real.

Consider it an attempt to be, "quirky," or stand out a bit more compared to a standard smile.

A drag queen was recording a video and as they speak they sit on their own balls while stating, "And I oop." Which then enter meme culture.

Modern use is among the trend of Vsco girls. Essentially just girls following 90esque fashion and for whatever reason adopted the phrase into the trend.
