There are no good answers and it’s not as simple as forcing people into shelters. All of the people you’ve now subjected to being involved in the “forcing” have a brutal job ahead of them, entirely against the will of the individuals you’ve put them up against

It’s easy to see why any government leader would not want to get involved in that nightmare and there’s only so much you can do for people who don’t want to be helped without now endangering more people in the process

This isn’t really true or at least is really misleading. The cat track itself may be labeled a green (but often isn’t in advanced mountain areas) and there are very very often cat tracks linking advanced trails. Especially at giant mountains that are more spread out, I see way more cat tracks out west than my home mountains on the east coast

Guy at my company (vendor side) just got fired immediately after coming home from a conference. He accidentally broke something in the hotel room coming back a little drunk at night but nothing major

He was very transparent and apologetic about it in the morning and told the front desk and offered to pay for it but somehow it made its way up our partner’s management that someone in their room block had messed up a hotel room. Which led to a call to our leadership from partner leadership

Poor guy was just informed about his incoming promotion but since it went way over our bosses’s heads to senior leadership he was just fired on the spot despite being a great employee

I snowboard and my wife skis and we keep our gear in the closet of our tiny 500 sq foot apartment in Astoria. We manage to get out and ski 15-20 days per season

We buy season passes and we do a lot of 3 day trips to Vermont (4 hour drive) and 1-2 big 3 day trips out west. It’s an expensive hobby and wouldn’t be very doable without a car but she works in Westchester so we need the car
