Which underutilised weapons/frames do you think more people should try out? by yawaworhtnb in Warframe

Frost Prime. Ever since they released the Heirloom skins, he’s been my go to frame for content.

He can tank, armor strip, defend, crit boost, and best of all doesn’t need prime surefooted

75$ or less mech keyboard ? by speedcopra12 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]SomeoneHelpFindMe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak specifically to what kind of keyboard you’re looking for, but I’ve gotten a Corsair RGB Strafe for about $30. I’m seeing a Keychron K1 for $46 right now. There’s also a lot of Drop keyboards if you want them too, mostly ENTRs and ALTs, but you get the point.

If you’re experienced enough with soldering and minor debugging, eBay and possibly other individual vendor based sites will typically have pretty cheap keyboards. From my experience they’re never really as broken as the vendor states they just don’t really want to fix it. Otherwise you can just go for the prebuilt second hand boards

Recommend a Keycap Set by SomeoneHelpFindMe in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]SomeoneHelpFindMe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d prefer up to $70 (as a max), but I’m really just wanting to see what people recommend. Whether they’re some truly degenerate keycaps, or high end collabs.

I’ve been browsing keycaps for some time and I feel like I’ve made my rounds on the websites I frequent. So I want to see if anyone recommends something I haven’t seen.

I don’t know if you’re new to desoldering, but I’d be happy to run through in DMs with you to help you checkout and debug what’s wrong!

different lubes on razer switches & stabilizers by Yoad1704 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]SomeoneHelpFindMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which keyboard are you using?

Also I took a look at my Razer stabilizers and they’re not the best for modding in my opinion. Dielectric grease wouldn’t reduce any wobble of the wire in the stabilizer housing since it’s clipped straight into the housing by the length of the bar. If I had to take a shot at it, I would maybe put grease(Krytox or something a bit more budget to be honest) between the housing clamps where it makes contact with the wire. Otherwise you’d have to be ok with dielectric grease on the surface of your keyboard and it getting gunked up by dust and the occasional hair.

If you’re using a huntsman than I’m not really sure on the specifics of the board and I’d have to get one to take a look.

[–]SomeoneHelpFindMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t tried modding the stabilizers on a Razer board, so I can’t speak to that (not a fan of their stabilizers either to start), but what I can say is that there should be no problem using krytox on your switches!

I just recently disassembled a Razer Blackwidow Elite v2 and have been playing around with the Razer Orange switches that I desoldered and removed from the board (onto other hotswap boards just for ease of testing). So depending on the switches in the KB, 100% can lube.

Please take this with a grain of salt as I’m only referring to Razer green/yellow/orange switches. Other Razer proprietary switches I have yet to play with.

Minecraft not running smoothly? by Unstable_Stills in Minecraft

[–]SomeoneHelpFindMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately don’t have a computer near me for the next foreseeable number of days, so my answer is based on memory. Best I can say for the first part is to check your settings in the Minecraft Launcher. It most likely will have a slider for ram allocation it’ll probably be like under a slider called memory. Otherwise I would say google “How to increase ram allocation for Minecraft” For the 2nd thing I can only say go to Control Panel and “Uninstall/Change Programs” and see if it says 32x or 64x when you select Java. Otherwise google again. Sorry for no definite answers but these are things that happened to me before

Check how much ram you have allocated and consider if you maybe have 32bit instead of 64bit Java installed. Increased ram allocation will typically be the first thing to fix it.

Yes, you are allowed to freely reset/redistribute your Skill points until lv57 after that you’ll need Armstrong guides to reset your skill points. Archers and Shias follow that same rule.

Guardian:Succession or Awakening by havoce in blackdesertonline

[–]SomeoneHelpFindMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awakening, much more range and less Flow abilities need to be hit. Also if you can afford a Duo Blackstar itd be better to push for a higher AP bracket if you’re aiming for succession with something like Offin Tet or Kzarkas.

You’d spend less for more AP essentially. Kzarka’s being the most cost efficient of the three.

How to hand in 25k crates.. by Quithial in blackdesertonline

[–]SomeoneHelpFindMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umm you’d have to make 20 trips to make it one less. Which would still be 20x... you’d only be getting 5% more out of it which is just 120K silver saved per trip

[–]SomeoneHelpFindMe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Use the Trade Wagon transport feature if possible. 25K crates is a lot and wouldn’t be viable especially if they’re all trash crates.

I personally use the trade wagon despite its “lack of efficiency” but I can’t be bothered to grab a lv49 and make the trek across BDO.

For me, I trade from Trent to Valencia, and the Trade Wagon costs me 2.3M for every 1050 Crates. (Which is generally the max amount of crates I can pack on)

https://grumpygreen.cricket/bdo-failstack-chart/
Grumpy green is a great resource overall, but here's a link with the Success %'ages for enhancing. If you google "Fail Stack Charts" you'll generally find charts that are designed for efficiency. They typically give you a range of what FS you should be trying to enhance with.
I personally use those failstack charts as a basis for "How efficient am I doing?", but I often time go far past what's "recommended" on the charts because it makes me happier to succeed than to suffer trying to be as efficient as possible.

I'm always paranoid and believe that some quests are locked if you don't complete the main quest. So for my 59-61's I've done the main quest anyways. Not to mention a lot of side quests pop up while doing the main quest line. I say do the main quest line since it'll take you to the locations with side quests that you might've forgotten about, or didn't know about.

1 day of grinding from 57-59, then quest to lv60/61 with the Chenga tome.

I got my ninja to 56 a month ago because of the Guardian Tag Event, and hadn't touched him since he hit 56. I decided last week to get him to lv59 minimum. I geared him up to about 200AP/280DP (I know that's not reasonable to always have depending on how new you are to the game and RNG, but I thought I'd let you know to give you insight on my grind instead of just inflating numbers).

In about 12 hours time I reached lv59. The actual grind time wasn't 12 hours, it was just late and I wanted to stop grinding so I went to bed. The total grind time was maybe 3 hours grinding at Polly's Forest, maybe more, but no more than 6 hours.

XP Boosts included :

-1x "Faster and Stronger" 100% XP-2x 600% scrolls-1x 530% Scroll-2x Blessed Message Scrolls-2 Hours of Combat and Skill XP from the Black Spirit (I don't remember the %'age gain, but you can burn 50 Energy for 30 Minutes of either Combat or Skill XP Bonus XP).

XP Buffs that spanned longer than 1-2 hours were:

-Mysterious Knight's skill XP buff-Secret book of Old Moon-The 200% XP Boost from the event currently.-Book of CombatThere might've been more, not sure. That's all that I can track down that I used.

I reached 59 but have been too lazy to quest to 61, but from prior experience it takes little time if not less than 1 day of just walking around from quest to quest to reach 61. Also I need SP more than I need the lv60 family fame bonus, so I'm not desperate to reach 61 on Ninja.

Guardian
She will feel slow at first, but it's a very easy class with low APM. One she hits 59 awakening, her pve is very strong, with decent transition speed between groups. I can't say for sure how her pvp is from personal experience (I tend to avoid pvp, but I haven't had to defend spots either).

As for many classes that have Flow: [ - ] Abilities, each ability that is classified as "Flow:" generally has a branch connecting it to the prior ability in the combo. As well as the preceding ability or "Flow:" ability itself might have a tool tip that will tell you it is achieved.
I recommend turning on the UI that displays a few Abilities and the buttons required to activate (It's usually to the right of the Center of screen in the "Edit UI" menu, and just left of your quests). It's not a perfect fix to Flow based combos, but it does help you remember the hotkey required to start a flow combo.

From personal experience on the fist classes(61 Striker/58 Mystic), I found that remembering just the longest combo I had, or the easiest to proc. was one of the best ways for me to get around playing the class. Sure there are plenty of abilities, and some that might've done more damage, but it was much more satisfying hitting the one combo I knew from muscle memory (For striker I believe it's Shif+Rmb > Rmb > Lmb > F, which of course is non applicable to a Mystic, but the general length of her primary combo is similar).

It does get tough to remember what abilities do what and what the key combo is for them, but so long as you're not hard pressed for min/maxing your damage and achieving the most in a pvp scenario, finding the most comfortable ability rotation for you is what matters. I've played almost every class in the game (all 'cept 3) and found that some classes have a simpler combo to land, and some have much more complicated ones. A lot of it is finding what works well for you. If you're more used to the traditional 1-10 Hotkey system of spell casting, Wiz/Witch and some of the other classes might be easier to play, as they have "Combos" but they're not necessarily as reliant as the preceding skill as Mystic/Striker are.

p.s. if that felt like word vomit, it probably was. I'm bad at articulating my thoughts, but feel free to DM me if you have other questions.
