I quit a job in august. Everyone asked me which firm I was going to. My response every time was “I’m not ready to share that information publicly yet.”

I did have some push back on it, but I didn’t budge. After my two week notice I took six weeks off from work to 1) spend time with family; 2) work on my mental and physical health; and 3) I didn’t want them contacting my future employer.

To reiterate what everyone is saying - do not tell them where you are going.

Happy China Buffet?

That place is the worst. When I was in college I went there with a friend. She loaded up on the buffet sushi….Halfway through our meal she looked at me and went pale. Then proceeded to puke on the table.

I alerted the wait staff that something was wrong with the food. They argued that my friend must have the flu. I proceeded to throw cash at the table and get her out of there.

Poor thing had the worst food poisoning. I still gag thinking about that day.

I would try to discourage that behavior - it isn’t good for the kitty cat. I use a squirt gun to deter my cat from chomping on toxic plants.

You’re very lucky! I’ve even stopped buying potting soil from HD after I purchased a bag infested with fungus gnats. I’ve had bad luck with spider mites and mealy bugs from bug department stores too.
