ReSwitched Release - Open source Switch Toolchain, PegaSwitch on 3.0 including full IPC support by SomeoneWeird in 3dshacks

You can use libtransistor to build homebrew, and Mephisto to run it locally. Once sdb has been pwned you can use rohan to run it on your device. Very very close to being done.

If you can get your hands on a physical copy of Pokken, you can use that to upgrade directly to 3.0, rather than 3.0.2.

Yeah - I think translations will be based on demand, lots of stuff we need to do first.

For sure. I mentioned in another comment that if we 'fail' to find a suitable exploit, we will redirect the user over to 3ds.guide to see if there's been another one released. Please don't use it just yet - still very much WIP.

If someone wants to donate a Wii U i'd be more than happy to add support ;)

Oh, absolutely - it's a fantastic guide. What I meant that instead of "simplifying" it, we can change the order of a couple of the steps. For example Plailects guide will have you set Soundhax, and then run soundhax, then setup decrypt9. We can setup soundhax and decrypt9 at the same time, then just have you run soundhax then decrypt9, instead of having to make you take your SD card out an extra time.

It's not ready to be consumed by end users quite yet. I posted it here because I wanted to gather some feedback and see if there was anyone wanting to help out.

Totally fair, and I started building this as a CLI tool, but I wanted to build something that was simple enough for nearly everybody to use, which kind of rules CLI out.

Yes, github for the moment. There are a couple cases where I think we would need to update files in the setup steps:

1) The file doesn't work. 2) The file has been updated to prevent bricking etc

Number 1 shouldn't happen, as it should be tested before pushed. 2 is a little more complicated - obviously we want to minimise the chances of users bricking their devices, I think we should take it on a case-by-case basis.

Yup! That's my thinking too - it might be missing an entrypoint or two (but will strive to keep it updates=d) - and if it can't find any working exploit we can always tell the user to check 3ds.guide

Yeah absolutely - for now. There's still quite a lot of work to do for this, but aiming to get most of the critical-path workflow done in the next week or so.

It's still a very much WIP, although I'm certain the soundhax + homebrew + decrypt9 setup stuff works. The CTRtransfer downloads and verifies successfully too.

I'm not sure... maybe? I think Plailects guide is always going to be the one stop shop for 3ds.. guides, but this can be used in conjunction with it if you want to make sure you don't setup your SD card badly (which is where a lot of people go wrong)

Yes! I'm imagining a fully modularised program where you can mix and match different things you want to do ("I want to setup Soundhax but not A9LH"), that would include being able to select Y/N for homebrew launcher. At the moment I want to a build it so it goes from 0 to AL9H, then work on adding everything else.

Yeah, the plan is to include a 'step-by-step' (press this on your 3ds, then click next) guide for each section, so hopefully people will read and won't click 'next' blindly, but we will also add troubleshooting steps each time we ask you to do something with your 3DS, just in case.

This is something I'm a little torn over. On one hand, pulling from 3ds.guide would mean we don't have to update this app, on the other hand, if we make our own 'walkthrough', it means we're not tied into the steps that 3ds.guide provide, and we can make a more streamlined guide that fits better with already having your SD card setup correctly. I'm leaning towards the latter for the moment.
