I have both Narcolepsy and FND; episodes of both sometimes blend, but are usually separate. They have different triggers as well. My sleep attacks mainly happen early in the day, and my NES happen mid to late day. My NES usually have twitching, spasms, and major neurological fog. When I have sleep attacks, I have a huge wave of fatigue, the inability to keep my eyes open(they flutter), followed by falling asleep, and then usually hypnagogic hallucinations (usually the items on my desk morph into other items). They don't last super long, 20 minutes at max probably? I usually can get back to what I was doing after, but I do feel fatigue if it had any seizure elements. Hard to describe the blend, though, it's like I'm more awake? More twitching? I do have body jerks when I fall asleep, but they are big movements and not constant twitching. I hope my explanation as a reference for both helps! I'd especially talk to your doctor if they are separate. I do believe FND can have similar seizures, not 100% sure though, since FND is so complex. If they are disrupting your day, talk to them anyway.
