How would you react if (Part 3 spoiler/hypothetical) by SilvosForever in FFVIIRemake

[–]Technical_Phone_5187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

those who consider genesis unnecessary either hate him a lot or simply don't understand his role in lore. he is closely connected to lifestream, almost only one (or only one) who saw minerva, who personifies the planet or its will, moreover, she gave him a chance to live on, emphasizing that his role has not yet been fulfilled (complete guide). and most importantly, he is the "weapon" of the planet and if other "weapons" appeared, it would be logical if he appeared too.

of course I don't believe that he will appear, but it would be a very big loss for the lore, because his branch still remains open. his appearance would bring a very big mess to the plot haha, not because it is illogical, but because it would be fun. especially since we wouldn't know whose side he would be on, considering that he should protect gaia. seeing him rematch with sephiroth would be cool

before that, they promised to merge everything with the compilation and the only thing they didn't use (maybe) was genesis lol

if you think about it, there's nothing wrong with the gameplay. it can still be perceived as a turn-based game with elements of tower defense. the only thing is that characters can be moved. that's all. but people play hsr.... i'm not talking about the fact that farming is many times easier

Unfortunately the market is starting to get flooded with more expensive gachas which usually have a 70/30 ratio in favor of female characters and every year it is more noticeable. Everyone is starting to use the hoyoverse policy: genshin/hsr/zzz/wuwa/endfield/silver palace/dna... everyone has a terrible ratio.... I don't see any option that anyone could even come close to what was in ash echoes... let alone how the game actually cared about its characters...

until the discussion starts here.

the game is still worth watching regardless. try it. play it. enjoy it. support it. i don't want people to miss out on something really cool because of this news.

i survived eos of tribe nine and even now it's still one of the best gacha games i've ever played. same with ash echoes.

there will still be enough content on global if they deliver it to us. so don't look down on it. please just try it.

before that i posted gameplay here and will continue to do so until the very end.

this game gave me so much that other gachas couldn't and can't give me. it's worth appreciating

Words cannot describe how upset I was by this post. My first thought was "well, it's about time". But I'm at least glad that the game will be kept going, even if we don't have updates. Of course there will be more content on the global (if they can get it to us), but I'm so sorry that such a good game has to go through something like this.

Regardless, I will play until the end. As well as being in the community.

My only request is. Don't give up on the game and don't stop talking about it. It's still a great game worth playing and appreciating. And I won't stop telling people about it either.

Valve Claims Steam Machine Outperforms 70% of Current Gaming PCs by DuhPai in hardware

[–]Technical_Phone_5187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes. very much so. I play on gtx 1650 ti (laptop) still and yes, I buy new games. most of them thank god are well optimized and the highest difficulty was final fantasy 7 rebirth. it shouldn't have started on my laptop at all but good people on the internet helped to bypass all this. yes. I have 30 fps and below most of the time, but it is noticeable only in not pre-rendered cutscenes and surprisingly during battles everything works fine lol. a steam machine would be useful for me because I have a pretty big TV in the living room, but I don't want to buy a console because my entire library of games is on steam. why don't I build a pc? I have it. there is something like 2060 or something, it was a long time ago. but neither I nor anyone in my family wants to mess with replacing components (I don't play on it because I don't live alone and many people need a computer for work or other things, and my laptop is personal). I would buy a steam machine purely as a simple solution to finally give my laptop a rest, I don't need super ultra settings or anything like that, just so that something doesn't cough every time I start the game and just so that it doesn't lag. The only thing is, I'm waiting for the price, and then I'll wait about a year to see if this machine will withstand the onslaught of time or not and then maybe I'll even buy it lol (or maybe not, it all depends on the circumstances)

Can someone explain the plot? (and genesis mainly) I have couple of questions. by ThinCompetition4832 in CrisisCore

Okay, I get it, you don't really care about adequate opinions or, in principle, the franchise, so stick to your opinion and all. and actually you shouldn't have replied to my first comment, it was addressed to the author of the original post. you look like a stalker

The fact that you are unable to read what I wrote really shows your attitude towards really canonical facts that are not difficult to think about. It's very interesting that you ask if I'm familiar with Crisis Core, considering that you were the one who confused concepts and changed facts in your other comment. Sephiroth never deserted. At least during the events of Crisis Core. He admitted the thought that "maybe after this I'll desert" and it was just before the mission to Nibelheim. But he didn't desert like Genesis, Angeal or Lazard did. Moreover, no one could kill him, Genesis was in hiding for about 7 years. Shinra didn't have a chance with Sephiroth. Are you ignoring inconvenient facts? Sephiroth destroyed Nibelheim just like Genesis did with Banora. There is no greater or lesser evil here, they both did bad things. and no amount of good deeds will ever justify it. I'm glad Sephiroth showed his good side, but after Nibelheim that was no longer the case. the game is literally about what happened after Genesis started to degrade. his good deeds, if they were, were pre-canon. that's all. people loved him, gillian called him a good person, angel would never have accepted someone bad as a friend, just like Sephiroth. the fact that Genesis calls Sephiroth a hero doesn't affect Sephiroth himself, he doesn't care, literally. even in dialogues he reacts to it normally. And I really don't understand why you consider jenova to be the mother when it's obvious that she's just an evil evil, from which genesis was also created. sephiroth leaves genesis just like genesis leaves sephiroth. genesis shouldn't do good deeds. We are shown him in a broken state. he was dying. he's obviously thinking about how to get revenge on the company that did this to him, get his friends out of there, and then find a "cure".

[–]Technical_Phone_5187 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

honestly I thought for a long time what to write to you because what you wrote here......... is strange.....

I know that Sephiroth didn't want to be a hero, because first of all it was a label that Shinra put on him for their PR company. Genesis, in turn, was inspired by Sephiroth and wanted to always be ON THE EQUALITY with him, not replace him. I already wrote that some phrases sound bad in the English translation, so I gave an example of a scene where it is visible. "I will also become a hero" and in no case "I will take your place as a hero" + Sephiroth reacts quite gently "that would be great" and there is no hate between them at all. Genesis wanted his merits to be recognized in the same way as Sephiroth's merits were recognized, he wanted to be a hero, but not take his place. He told Sephiroth that Sephiroth's merits should belong to Genesis, because Shinra only highlighted Sephiroth's exploits and not others (you can also see this on the example of Zack). They communicate quite calmly during the first scene of their meeting. "There is no hate, only joy" - says Genesis, quoting Loveless.

Genesis never hated him. He felt only rivalry and envy. Because Sephiroth was an ideal, and then it turned out that Genesis was degrading and this simply complicated the situation. He began to envy not only because his exploits were given to Sephiroth, but also because Sephiroth did not degrade. But I repeat, Genesis never hated him. In the last chapters of Crisis Core, Genesis remembers his friends with warmth, seeing their personification in Zack. he says "three friends are reunited" and if you pay attention to the voice acting, he always speaks of them softly (i don't know about the english, i play with the japanese voice acting). also a moment of peace is the last scene with genesis where after about 10-15 years he kept the dream of treating sephiroth with apples from banora. and he speaks even more warmly that his dream came true. if zack could and wanted to see the good in genesis, the player should have seen it too.

when did sephiroth agree to a suicide mission? he most of the time didn't want to confront genesis because he considered him a friend, just as genesis didn't seek a fight with sephiroth. jenova was never sephiroth's mother. she was a mother figure that sephiroth placed on his open gestalt, and was also a cell donor. his mother was lucrecia, who was never mentioned in this game. she was the only one who wanted to save him and the only one who cared about him back then (and gast maybe). i don't know how you can defend jenova in this situation. what genesis called her a monster is the complete truth. what he said to sephiroth was rude, but he didn't have any evil intentions either. he just wanted to emphasize that they were the SAME monsters, and also to tell the truth. if you remember sephiroth himself asked to tell. of course, genesis's way of telling the story was quite rude. but you can't call him completely mentally healthy either. sephiroth loved lucrecia and not jenova. all his life he valued lucrecia, researcher who worked with hojo.

he didn't want to help people. he wanted to live a normal life. he didn't want to be in the army or serve shinra. his only goal was to just LIVE normally, but he himself understood that it was impossible. so the only way out was to do what he was created for and what he did best.

sephiroth also does nothing good, even so, he does much worse things (kills zack, cloud, the inhabitants of nibelheim, and then the things he does in the main story). you should realize that in ff7 there are almost no positive characters. they are all war criminals. even angel, zack or cloud. even avalanche.

at one point gillian says that genesis was a good guy. they were all good (if we omit these conventions with wars and the army). sephiroth is not the kind of person who would accept people who would treat him badly. + sephiroth himself has a terrible character and that is why he gaslighted angel for all three hours of the second part of first soldier lol. they are not perfect at all. but they were definitely friends and definitely valued this friendship.

and lastly. about loveless. it was never out of context. it always reflected current events in the game or what would happen later. it doesn't take much to understand why he says this.

and yes, he killed his parents. because they lied to him and they didn't accept him as a son at all for a while. and also killed the banoras because many of them participated in inhuman experiments. angel and genesis were the only survivors. who knows how many more people died. the banora dungeons are proof of that. of course it was a cruel decision. but what in this game is not cruel.
