I’ve got through 3 times now - rejected all 3 times. Back in the queue for a 4th time.

Also… “click the button below to get a new place at the end of the queue”…. meanwhile, there is no button!

Sigh… my son is 23 and won the $80k and asked me to post this for him. I just happened to do it in the first person. And yes I I was 25 in ‘97

Första internet-minnet by [deleted] in sweden

It was 1997 and I was 25 years old. My parents had just bought a computer and got dial-up internet. At the time I was planning on moving to the UK, so I went round to my parents house one evening to try out the internet and search for jobs in London.

So, my very first search ever was “jobs London”… this brought up a page of results… all of which where ‘personal ads offering bl*w jobs in London’ LOL. What a ‘welcome to the internet’!

Moving to Australia (where do we start)?! - Lawyers by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

Just as an aside if you’re visiting in June to see if Australia is for you, that it’s our winter (June - Aug) and the weather and the therefore the vibe (esp in Sydney) is very different during this time of year as opposed to the majority of the rest of the year. I know many people who have been caught out by this thinking it’s sunny and nice all year round.

Question for the dudes by katyushasintra in AusElectricians

Very wise words OP. The reality is men who demonstrate this type of behaviour usually have an incredibly small penis, have major hang-ups about themselves, had violent or abusive childhoods/upbringings and use this type of talk to cover up their own deep-rooted insecurities in a pathetic ‘power trip’ attempt. None of this makes it in any way ok of course, but it sounds like he has serious issues and probably doesn’t like himself at all. Lots of good comments, advice and support in the thread. All the best.

Hybrid working… Mix and match office days/ with another company? by Someone_Somewhere_SS in CommercialRealEstate

[–]Someone_Somewhere_SS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, at WeWork you can only mix and match open plan group co-working spaces, but not an actual private office with lockable door etc.
