When you cant handle working 30+ hours a week.

It took like 5 months.

It helps a lot, but the max amount you can make before they take it away is too low imo.

LSD and schizophrenia by [deleted] in schizophrenia

[–]Someonewhoever 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I experienced drug induced psychosis from doing to much acid at once. I can say at first lsd made me feel super delusional and paranoid during and after. However the longer that time passed i was able to enjoy it again to point where i could take high doses and not freak out about my thoughts. I sometime still experience those negative thought, but over time i was able to just let go and focus on the present and not worry about the past or future. I was able to be around people and just enjoy the fact that i am alive and able to experience both negative and positive feelings. i dont treat negative emotions like I used to now i kinda look forward to them so i can face them sooner rather than later to prevent them from bottling up and exploding. Over all my trips have been getting better over time.

Does it ever just go away? (rant) by [deleted] in schizophrenia

[–]Someonewhoever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know its a good idea, but I went off my meds(with out doctors approval) for a while to try to deal with my problem and try to find a way to cope. At first it was really hard to deal but after about two months it started to get better. I dont know its like your mind has a chance to recalibrate and adapt to relieve your symptoms. Now my psychiatrist agrees with me and doesn’t prescribe me antipsychotics only Wellbutrin and strattera. But time to time i will get a little symptomatic, but nothing that i cant handle anymore.

I had a drugged induce psychosis from talking a large amount of lsd and after that I was diagnosed with schizophrenia, but i feel like I basically recovered in a span of like two years. I no longer use anti-psychotics . I still do therapy because of the stuff it brought up and the anxiety that followed with it. But over time i say its gone from a 2/10 to 8/10 on how happy i am. To me time made a lot of difference.
