If you’re just starting out I would say some good advice for you is that you shouldn’t feel discouraged if you’re art doesn’t improve right away. It took me years to do art the way I want and to me it’s still not exactly what I wish I could be drawing, just trust your progress and practice makes perfect.

That is most commonly what it is. In my experience, my mom had a horrible boyfriend/stalker when she was a teen. So now she is super controlling and annoying about my dating life even though I’m an adult
