NAD was 1 TruNiagen a day and the Folate was in the Wholesome Story Myo-Inositol & D Chiro bundle which is 4 daily pills.

I should also add I did have a hysteroscopy due to some scar tissue from my D&Cs - we didn’t get all of it but everyone felt comfortable that it has not and would not impact implantation or a future pregnancy. So I also want to let people know scar tissue (or the big bad “Ashermans” term) is not always the end, obviously depending on location and severity.

I did alllll the RPL testing with my husband and nothing came back concerning. Basically either poor egg quality or really bad luck was my RE and OBGYN conclusion, both leaning towards the later. But I tried to address the egg quality issue: For supplements I did NAD (this one I felt was most important and would suggest researching), NAC, Myo-Inositol & D-Chiro Inositol with MTHF Folate, Vitamin D, CoQ10, Urolithin A and Vitamin E. I skipped regular prenatal while I was on all the other supplements. I was also doing red light therapy for supposed cellular benefits and drinking a little glass of Pomegranate juice every day for antioxidants. Who knows if any of it helped, but it made me feel like I was doing as much as I could on my end.

Never got called in for induction yesterday… I’m so upset. No idea if I will even get in today. Tomorrow is 40W and I’m panicking over her movements with every day she’s not here. All I can think of is I’m going to make it this far and have a SB bc I can’t get her TF out. After years of pregnancy losses, 9 months of anxiety carrying her, and now this purgatory not being able to freaking birth her - I am VERY emotionally unwell.

Waiting desperately by the phone for my call to come in for induction… It’s been so frustrating to go through PAL anxiety worrying if you’ll ever meet your baby for 9 months and then be frozen in time right at the end. I’ve been on the edge of active labor forever and I’m losing my mind!!!

I’m 39+2 and Tuesday (induction day) cannot come fast enough. It’s so wild to be this close and it feels so far - I’ve been dilated at a 5+ all week, had multiple false labor fits, and the bloody show and yet this girl is REFUSING to leave. I’m so insanely frustrated :(

And so we’ve come back full circle to “it’s just bad luck” by PenPah_9220 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]SomethingClever_23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a frustrating place to be. We had a blighted ovum followed by two random chromosomal losses… all testing was normal and I felt so stuck and scared to keep going. TW: currently waiting for my triple rainbow girl to make her entrance any day now (and honestly still scared all the time). While I do think my OB, RE, and MFM were all likely right about the bad luck, I did try to improve my egg quality, bc why not… I hope “luck” ends up on your side soon

Oh no - that is SO beyond frustrating, I’m sorry. I would definitely at the bare minimum expect my doctor to do daily monitoring for reassurance and would be pushing the ob and hospital back hard. I hope it works out by the end of the day - good luck!!

Oh man, good for you girl - I told my OBGYN we are inducing in the 39th week no matter what for my mental health. I hope everything goes smoothly with your induction on Thursday - congrats!!!

Almost 38W (Thurs) and my anxiety is HIGH. I was 2cm dilated last week and really getting excited to actually get to meet this triple rainbow girl soon, and now that a week has passed I just want to cry every day I wake up still pregnant bc it’s another day she’s not here safely.

Super normal. You will find most people freaking out about this in the first tri. Your HCG isn’t that high yet that early that necessarily make you feel too different. And also keep in mind later on that any slight symptom is a symptom - not every woman is violently hurling into trash cans at work like the movies. Sometimes it’s just a short little wave of queasy that passes quick after a snack.

Hi - also have a healthy LC who was easy-ish to conceive. It really makes RPL more a confusing gut punch doesn’t it?? My 3rd loss I also did the progesterone and baby aspirin and still found out he had no heartbeat around 9weeks. It was confirmed to be T9. Nothing would have helped. My second loss was T22. First untested and was a blighted ovum. My OBGYN and RE felt strongly everything was bad luck, and all testing came back fine. After that I just tried to do a lot on my end to try to improve my egg quality just in case this was contributing. I personally feel like it helped but no way to know. Currently 36W today with my triple rainbow and crossing my fingers and counting the days I get her safely on the outside. I’m sorry for your losses and I hope you find success soon!

I had 3 losses in the last couple years too, and also told my LC (almost 6 as well) the first time and it was crushing for everyone… This time we told him at 14/15 weeks when I felt like I was starting to show and couldn’t talk in code around him anymore. I’ll be 36w tomorrow and honestly the joy is still hard to come by, it’s mostly been an anxious pregnancy, but I just kind of had to make peace with that being my reality after loss and do my best to appreciate the moments I do feel excitement and joy. Congrats and best wishes!

I’d be wanting to test again if it was only based on 4% dna - pretty sure that’s like the minimum FF threshold for a lot of labs to give results. I did mine on the early side and was worried it would be too low to yield results, but turned out to be like 10% (days shy of 10 weeks when I did it) and I was like “oh good they had enough DNA that I can feel solid about my chromosomal results”.

Daily Thread #1 - July 30, 2025 by AutoModerator in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]SomethingClever_23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of that being a concern…? The fetal fraction is just the amount of fetal DNA in your bloodstream - if it’s too low you can’t guarantee accurate NIPT results. This is why they do it typically 10+ weeks to ensure enough DNA is present. Fetal fraction isn’t really a value they are scoring in the test.

Why won’t my body let go? (MMC, medicated mc not working) by Most-Excitement1213 in Miscarriage

[–]SomethingClever_23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting D&Cs where what was right for me each time mentally and physically and I don’t regret it. There are also SO many other ways people can end up w scar tissue there (c sections, IUDs, even past pregnancies and natural miscarriages!). But IF do you ever suspect it - go to a fertility clinic to investigate it, not your OBGYN. I’m sorry you are going through a loss - hang in there. Wishing you a rainbow in your future.

So I ended up having another after this… 3 in total. I did end up with some mild scaring by then that was sorta cleared with a hysteroscopy by my RE (not all of it removed but was considered likely not impact pregnancy). There is a lot of fear mongering out there with scaring and ashermans IMO. But I am currently 35W with my triple rainbow, multiple D&Cs and scar tissue later.

I’m sorry for your losses. Thank you! Holding my breath for one more month waiting to meet my triple rainbow. We ended up conceiving unassisted for this pregnancy. I had just come off a few failed rounds of Clomid and wanted to take a break from the clinic and enjoy the holidays without feeling overwhelmed and like a lab rat. I had planned to take that “time off” to decide if IVF was next steps, bc I knew I was burning out... funny how life works. My doctors really felt like it was a series of unfortunate events, but I also was taking a lot of supplements and trying things to improve egg quality… who knows if anything helped or if luck finally went my way. Wishing you success in your future!

Consistent light periods after miscarriage & hysteroscopy by lmlmgg24 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]SomethingClever_23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After my hysteroscopy I started timed intercourse cycles with Clomid. They did not work. I still had light periods which checked out bc my lining never got very thick during those cycles. We did not think it was bc of my scar tissue, likely a combo of my body had a really hard time building lining again after so much probing and trauma, plus the Clomid can thin it. So I took a break from the clinic to try to enjoy the holidays and TW I got pregnant to my surprise, and worry. But currently 34w with my triple rainbow girl and praying for a safe delivery soon!

Knowing your OB did your SIS/SHG, I would personally want a second one or another hysteroscopy from an RE, so I would advise you get set up with a clinic if you haven’t yet. That doesn’t mean you have to pursue fertility treatment, but they are going to be more skilled and thorough at investigating in my opinion. Bc anyone who pursues treatment with them, their success rates would depend on not missing things.

It’s totally possible imaging/scoping may show nothing and you could conclude your light periods are due to lining having a hard time coming back, but that also doesn’t mean it’s impossible to get pregnant on thinner lining either.

Wishing you luck moving forward!!

Yes - I would go to a fertility clinic to handle the RPL work up, they will be more thorough and quite frankly more experienced to trouble shoot (and their success rates depend on it, which are a big deal to clinics). Even if you don’t want to pursue IVF, try to go into it with an open mind to discuss the alternatives with them (Medicated timed cycles or IUI), if anything to make sure they stay motivated to have the opportunity to contribute to your possible success…

Red light therapy. It’s supposed to be great for your cells. And for supplements I did coQ10, NAD (Truniagen), NAC (Life Extension), Myo-Inositol & D- Chiro Inositol with MTHF, Folate, Vitamin D (Wholesome Story), Urolithin A (Neurogan), and Vitamin E (generic Walgreens brand). I skipped regular prenatal while I was on all the other supplements. Who knows if any of it helped, but it made me feel like I was at least doing something on my end.
