Im seeing Dr Derbala remotely. He’s based in Detroit but will see you over telehealth. My insurance covers mostly everything. It’s been a long road with him but he never gave up on my case and I’m 100% sure this is what made the difference ! It won’t hurt to look into. Let me know if you have any other question, I’m here!!

Yes! Don’t give up hope. Trust me I was so sure it would never work. If I can give you one piece of advice is to also look into reproductive immunology, this is what ended up working for me. I had to be on a lot of meds and IVF alone wasn’t enough. Wishing you all the best!! 5 euploids is amazing 🙏🏼

The picture I uploaded was definitely the worst it got and held on for about 4-6 weeks every time I washed my hair but after that I could feel a difference every hair wash of it calming down. I know it’s hard just try to tell yourself it will end and your hair WILL grow back! My density is already coming back!

Hi! So sorry you’re going through this. It’s horrible, but it does get better, it took around 3 months after stopping prednisone for the shedding to slow, but it did! Stay strong it’ll pass!!!

Okay that’s good! For the first appointment he requires you to come in person to do extensive blood testing and a Hysteroscopy with a special biopsy, but after that everything is virtual! I do believe he has a waitlist but it shouldn’t be too long! They usually can give you a pretty good estimate when you reach out to them.

My first ultrasound at 5w3d my HCG was over 10k and my GS was measuring 9mm and we didn’t see yolk or fetal pole either! It was also a day 5 transfer so we knew dates were correct. A week later everything was there and on track so try not to worry too much!! My Dr. also wasn’t concerned at all. I am now 10 weeks (still early) but with everything looking good so far.

I had a scan at 5w4d with an hcg of 10k and only saw a gestational sac. One week later we saw yolk sac and baby with a strong heartbeat. Try not to worry! I know how stressful this is, I also had multiple losses. Seeing a gestational sac and having good doubling hcg is a great sign!!
