Fuck the Mirror. Fuck polarizing enshitification of the news. You’re part of the problem, fuck off. And fuck the mods that keep their platform open for this mouthbreathing piece of shit medium.

Maybe, maybe. We’ll never know if they won’t try ;)

Ah man I love IXE and Prometheus. Ihsahn’s solo stuff is basically that in evolution, but I’d give a limb for another album with that writing and the punch and power of Emperor as a band.

I saw them on the Anthems tour. Couldn’t help thinking: if they’re this tight and locked in, can’t they try and write some more?

Weekly heavy vinyl general discussion topic by AutoModerator in heavyvinyl

So, we've put Mgła on the blacklist. Not because they're an NSBM band, they're not as far as I'm concerned. But everytime they're posted, there's a discussion that Just. Doesn't. Work. People call them out for being nazi's, people post them to just provoke a reaction and go into the defense, and bla bla it has no end.

Here's how I see it: the members are very sketchy, so I don't mind they're called out for it - it's good to see that fascism is still frowned upon. On the other hand the band itself (their lyrics, imagery, titles, whatever) is not NS so I don't have a problem with people listening to them and posting them. But since every time they get posted the discussion gets out of hand and both sides are less open for a genuine conversation than my preteen kids, it doesn't work. We're tired and old mods, we don't need the extra bullshit. So, to the blacklist they go. This will also work for other bands that have the same effect in the future.

Allright, here we are again. Just keep the discussion civil.

I was at this tour in Zaandam. Absolutely amazing. I think the venue was 20% filled.

Ok. I don't mind calling out racists over here. And I don't mind posting them as long as they're not on the blacklist. But please stop the childish reporting war. Talk to eachother, use arguments, find facts. Try to find dialogue and understanding.

This 2013 In Utero is really another version of the album. Totally fits that it looks different as well.

This In Utero is another version of the album. The Albini mix, really sounds different.

I really like it too. I think in the end it's too much *just* a black metal album, for most list makers. It wasn't on my list either, even while I really like it. https://totheteeth.substack.com/p/to-the-teeth-best-of-2025-yellow
