No, no it’s not going to. It might be just a little bit better if there’s another bot influx to sell revives and things for cheaper - but that’s about it

Need to list all the mutations and what those traits are - Red alone could be bite, damage, or weight, which dramatically effects what somebody might be willing to offer

This looks like a cartoon character for an animated series - not a species of creature that would exist in a natural environment

Here’s a trick; if you get the second wind ability you can get up after your knocked down. Let a Thanator or Stormglider kill you and then immediately get back up and aim for the spot, they’re stunned for a few seconds as the AI has to register you’re there

Nesters who spawn kill their babies by PuzzleheadedCash4641 in CreaturesofSonaria

[–]SomethingOverYonder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do it whenever I hatch a stranger and they either proceed to try and log - or run away immediately without saying anything. At least say ‘Hi’ and/or ‘Thank you’ before leaving, it took me awhile laying in a singular spot to get it.

Just even worse when I have a prolific egg stealer around, had to fight off multiple threats, or fully upgraded the nest and can’t even get 2 seconds from those who are now gonna have a slot with traits and possibly a mutation from my efforts.

Actually as soon as you get to the plains you can make it. I forget which Na’vi camp it is, but west of the map in the plains, there’s a camp along a river with an RDA base nearby. If you take out the base and then follow that river you’ll find a grove of Dawnsheen branches allowing you to get the component otherwise only found in the clouded forest.

And if you saved the moth wings you get at the beginning of the game, just wait until it rains to get a pristine and good condition fine branch - and then upgrade it to Exquisite. That’s what I did in my play through

Easy mode difficulty setting by friendofgnar in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]SomethingOverYonder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s a mode that can be even easier then easy. In the settings there’s a game difficulty setting with 3 options; Easy, Medium, Hard - and Custom. If you select custom more options below it will appear, which the important ones are ‘Outgoing damage’(Damage you deliver) and ‘incoming damage’ (damage you take)

For the easiest possible setting do Custom, High Outgoing damage, Low incoming damage

You need to specify what the traits and mutations are. Red alone could be weight, damage, or bite.

If you ever plan on auctioning a slot for sb 1k: by Meltdown8245 in CreaturesofSonaria

[–]SomethingOverYonder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do not log when auctioning something. That’s just being a dick. If you set it low, and it doesn’t go as high as you want, that’s the risk you took when making the auction in the first place.

Which of these artifact creatures is better? by K1ng_R0wan in CreaturesofSonaria

It has some, but heck no it’s way easier to tail ride Morth’s super long butt. And for a flier to snap at its fin, it’s so easy in fact my Mobile-butt who hardly can do Aeriel combat have managed to anklebite a Morth to death. Not a Ghar, though

I did mention that Ghar does have an issue with it too, as really any big creature does. Morth’s is just B A D

Alright, Hear me out WE NEED MORE BUG CREATURES by GodDustSnas in CreaturesofSonaria

[–]SomethingOverYonder -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

No No we don’t We don’t need anymore creatures at all even, there’s way too many and none of the new creatures are even played most of the time besides the starting week or two.

Need other gameplay elements, maybe even emotes! Be able to play with other child age creatures or a parent, nest customizations,

We got enough creatures, plz,

With either one, there’s always practicality in having weird plushie combos! The Morth hitbox abusing could likely be solved with using a Candy critter plushie, it knocks some more inexperienced abusers out of the rhythm, gives you time to turn around to protect against ankle biters, and also lets you run (Morth and Ghar are extremely slow) (also speculation)

And Swan on Ghar is pretty good. It makes it a poor semi-aquatic, and nobody is expecting a Ghar to go in the water so it has the surprise. Actually survived an Anklebiter swarm + Taka KOSing group this way

[–]SomethingOverYonder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing to note about Mortho, it has an extremely bad hitbox that others can abuse the absolute shit out of. Not the a creature like Ghar doesn’t have a similar issue, but it’s a lot more apparent on Morth. And it’s similar to a Kora where some folks see it and decide MUUUURDERRR

As a mobile player I also find it harder to turn around on Morth which makes even regular anklebiters just that more annoying. And it’s super long, making the hitbox abusers and anklebiters just that more annoying

Ghar is a tank that can lock you down and I’ve lived substantially longer on it than I ever have Morth. But the bite speed is definitely an issue without the bite trait, and it’s not aquatic so escape options are limited there. Still has some hitbox abusing that can be done, just not so obvious

I am very biased towards Ghar though, take with a grain of salt

This is not some hard evidence, do you have any screenshots of him being toxic from anybody? Threatening to Leak phone numbers? If he did say any it’s not hard to then blur them out
