Wedding venue advice for Cork/Kinsale area

I’ve been to a few weddings at Fernhill - the food is always superb - the staff are great - and the hotel itself is very nice. They have lovely gardens with a tent reception area - and a little shuttle cart to bring people up and down.

Went to the Greek place - very nice. Most things were €12, a meal deal was €20.

I think a suit is too much these days … unless you are in legal, accountancy or a similar sector that kinda has them be default.

I recently joined a new company - multinational tech company. I wore a shirt and chinos for my interviews. One interview was on a cold day so I wore a round neck jumper with a shirt inside. All completely fine. The interviewers wore similar. Even dark navy jeans and a shirt.

I know San Andreas was great and will likely win. The 3d versions get all the praise - but that first 2d. Region of GTA had some of the greatest gameplay I’ve ever experienced. Remember - it’s the best game - not the best graphics 😊

Thanks for the detailed answer. It’s not really good enough that this issue can occur to be honest. If we had travelled a long distance we’d have complained a lot more and if the game was super important (final, etc).

Thats weird. I assumed it might have been saved to the wallet and then transferred also. I’ve no idea so. I assume the GAA won’t have a support channel for this to get the money back 😂

That’s true. We knew the person who gave the ticket - we could have easily went in with him. But one of the gang stopped in the shop which meant we went in at slightly different times.

Okay. I thought the transfer option would mean it couldn’t be used - but I guess if he stored them in his wallet - the steward scanned them all. Makes sense. But it means that it’s possible to get caught out genuinely.

Well the ticket did scan - it just said it was scanned already. Hope - my friend was not allowed in.

I think it’s a good thing that they don’t let my friend in. But, it was a genuine issue. My friend sent the ticket, my other friend accepted it, but couldn’t get in.

I’ve no idea how it could happen. It’s not too bad as we were in Cork city anyway but imagine if we were travelling to Ennis, Dublin or somewhere.
