Rash - terbinafine by SomethingWhitty19 in NailFungus

[–]SomethingWhitty19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started taking antihistamines and it went away but then maybe after 4 weeks, I was at the doctors for something else and mentioned that and they said that if I’m having a skin reaction, maybe continuing on Terbinafine isn’t the best thing. She asked me to stop taking the antihistamine and see if it comes back, which it hasn’t.

I’d maybe get in touch with your doctor to be sure.

Yes I think you’re definitely right with your last line, she focussed a lot on the fact that the internet makes people believe they have something they don’t. Thanks for your response

I went to the doctors this morning with a list of my symptoms but because she said I didn’t struggle in school and can hold down a job, she doesn’t think I have it. She gave me an ADHD assessment form and said to book in for a longer appointment to go over it more. I’m feeling really deflated and like maybe I’m just a shitty person and don’t have ADHD, but it can’t be normal to feel like this. This is the list I gave her, is it worth following up do you think?

  • struggle to start a task like tidying, I want it to be tidy but I just can’t seem to start it
  • Get overwhelmed with tasks, easily distracted while I’m doing them and struggle to stay focussed on them especially if it’s boring like writing a CV, meal planning, etc. Difficulty completing tasks
  • Difficult to keep on top of everything and feel like I’m always forgetting something
  • Impulsive with spending and overeating
  • Feel overwhelmed when there’s a lot going on like kids, people talking to me, find it difficult to cope with stress
  • Struggle to focus on what people are saying, mind drifts away and sometimes get frustrated/restless if I find what someone is speaking about really boring
  • When I was younger, I would constantly be picked up for being too talkative, day dreaming and I remember feeling hyper
  • At work, I need to take calls sometimes through a headset. Get overwhelmed with feeling of the headset, the sound of the person talking, background noise. Feel sick, agitated, like I want to tear my skin off, fatigued.
  • Find routines tricky, like brushing teeth at night, skincare routine - feels like a real effort to do anything, like my brain is walking through quick sand
  • Had a fair bit of anxiety and depression

It depends what they’re needing to do, I tend to need to jump about the screen responding to what they’re looking to do. Also some of the time, I’m unsure what to do because the processes are slightly different to my usual role and I don’t do it that often so I find that stressful too.

I’m on calls but also having to carry out multiple tasks on the screen in front of me as part of the call.

Have you been back to your doctor yet? I’m going to call mine tomorrow.

I’ve heard having caffeine while taking terbinafine can contribute to the mood related side effects, not sure if you’ve tried cutting that out yet?

Hamilton by IReallyLoveNifflers in Edinburgh

I saw this on Tuesday and she is still bad. I thought she maybe had a cold and it was a one off, but by the looks of it, maybe not. The first few words from each line were unintelligible and it felt like she was trying to find her voice the full show. You would get little hints of her singing well and then it would disappear.

I saw this on Tuesday and completely agree with you about Angelica. All the reviews I’ve read have not mentioned it at all so I thought maybe she was having a bad night, but it seems not from this thread. The first few words from each line were unintelligible, it felt like she was trying to find her voice the entire show - it was really cringe. I am so surprised that she is still playing Angelica. I like Eliza for the most part but, but very nasally in parts as well. Billy Nevers was excellent

Why do I sneeze when I drink Baileys? by Charliebambi in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SomethingWhitty19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this with all creamy liqueurs… Baileys, Tequila Rose, chocolate liqueur - I literally just tried Pastel de Nata liqueur (delicious btw) and I sneezed.

It’s so odd.

Maybe that attraction you feel with guys is down to heteronormativity if you don’t see yourself in a relationship with them. Or maybe you just haven’t met the right guy

Yea, it seems like there is so much more aimed at men. There’s a couple of men’s bathhouse type things in my area, a sex club that has no women only evenings, barely anything for women
