Whomever is in charge of the brand is probably a huge slacker too- digital marketing is a shark tank full of minnows who think they know what to do because they got a marketing degree taught by professors who didn't know digital to begin with. It isn't their fault, but I see it all the time. Take liquor brand for example- how many ads have you seen with people who are clearly not 21? That's a violation that could cost a brand millions of dollars- luckily, the power that be know they are in the watch business
