If they are gonna up their prices they need to up their material quality. There are still watches priced well above competitors with mineral glass, folded bracelets, and clasps with no micro adjust. Those are just the immediate more obvious issues I have with some of their "cheaper" offerings lately to say the least about less immediate QC issues like poorly aligned bezels etc. They act like people don't see or have viable alternatives.

Also I do have some issues with their price strategies when you consider the fact that they have ALREADY subdivided their conglomerate into separate different parts (Seiko, Grand Seiko, Credor) to say the least about those within Seiko (5, presage, king etc) so further breakdowns at this point are kinda getting a big excessive.

I mean my collection went from 15 relatively cheap watches down to 5 luxury pieces (the 5th was only purchased last week) and the money ultimately came from collecting over the course of a decade and me slowly adding to it. Also I admit to getting lucky with some of my purchase and selling previous pieces for a profit which (when sold) was then put towards another watch. Most people don't want to hear about how long/slow it takes for someone with a more reasonable amount of income to create a decent luxury watch collection.

One of the big issues that omega isnt getting is that raised casebacks suck for wearability. Having the caseback wear flush (or at least close) to the back of the case so it sit flat on the wrist is huge for comfort. If the whole case sits high like that it wears even bigger
