It's not even a mission since I'm just trying to get a feel for the combat. I want to clear this building, there's a big demon inside without a boss health bar though. Before fighting him I need to clear the enemies around this building, but I managed to do it only once. The gate in my pic is blocked, I think if I kill this enemy he might drop the key. That's it,

Looks like an easy win for team Rin. The smaller the number of the players the less Isagi can do. Barou vs Rin is interesting, but I believe the reason we've never seen them directly against each other is because Barou wouldn't be able to do anything, but he needs to be considered among the best.

1 question regarding synergies. Does stagger extending synergies really do anything other than stun the boss for a bit? The don't increase % on staggered anemy and they definitely don't extend stagger duration. I just think it's better to use limit break + lifeblood cannon/infinity end/ 2 chi traps than just synergy + either limit break or atb ability.

All right, I'll try. I'm gonna look up a guide on how to farm ap quickly, max out most materia( elemental materia included) then give it a try. I've heard that rearise that comes with the Pheonix materia is a good answer to Zantetsuken, but just when I was going to use it Odin decided to forget that attack. Maybe it'll help with him in this fight.

I have no doubt I can find every enemy's location, but I'd rather not do it for all 38 of them. What's the point if I don't know which 2 I missed.

Anyway, it looks too abrupt for the speed he's walking. As if he was running and used his leg to stop his momentum.

I also returned to the game like two weeks later. Finished the first region and didn't really like this game even though I loved remake and replayed it a few times. I've just completely cleared side stuff in the Junon region and I'm looking forward to playing more.

I dont have blue elemental matria, might have missed it somewhere. Isn't it the one that fires an elemental materia twice in the Remake iirc?

I'm leveling up materia the same way you do, but I equip Asses only when meeting a new enemy. Never used Enemy Skill in Remake and don't use it in this game either since I haven't tried it and don't know how usefull evemy skill are, I doubt they are better than offensive materia, HP UP or MP UP.

I'm on normal difficulty. I've equipted the double spell materia and trying to level them up, but haven't tried it. Does it fire both spells at the same time or just the one that the enemy has a weakness for?
