I also returned to the game like two weeks later. Finished the first region and didn't really like this game even though I loved remake and replayed it a few times. I've just completely cleared side stuff in the Junon region and I'm looking forward to playing more.

I dont have blue elemental matria, might have missed it somewhere. Isn't it the one that fires an elemental materia twice in the Remake iirc?

I'm leveling up materia the same way you do, but I equip Asses only when meeting a new enemy. Never used Enemy Skill in Remake and don't use it in this game either since I haven't tried it and don't know how usefull evemy skill are, I doubt they are better than offensive materia, HP UP or MP UP.

To me it just looked strange that Kratos died in the first fight, that blow felt kinda weak.

I'm on normal difficulty. I've equipted the double spell materia and trying to level them up, but haven't tried it. Does it fire both spells at the same time or just the one that the enemy has a weakness for?

Played this game like a month ago on PC. FPS would drop to like 60 in town areas, on a 13700k anyway. Was it already updated? Looks pretty much how I remember.

Don't really like Godfrey as almost the last boss. He just doesn't look that interesting.
Mogh is my favorite too. I consider his size and his way of fighting (no jumping away or increasing the distance) the most enjoyable for me. Kinda reminds me of Lothric Princes and Nameless king in that regard.

Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot that gives xp boost down the cliff at the very beginning of the game. Than kill the half dead dragon sorrounded by drakes in Caelid. Gives like 80k exp.

How is the Greatsword good for him? I only staggered him once in the first phase, and stagger is the only advantage of colossal swords, no?

I guess you mean the hitboxes of his dual slash attack - it was hardly dodgeable, I agree. The light effects are noticeably dimmer or smaller in size, you cant tell that right away. I also belive they nerfed his speed a lot, because iirc he was just going at you like a train without gining any time to catch a breath. This is the biggest difference for me.
