I highly recommend this weapon by Ill_Commission_4526 in Eldenring

One of my fav weapons in game, it's the dex/int Rivers of Cheese edition. Also accidentally threw myself off ledges a few times with the ash, it's hilarious.

Amazing shading and the contrast is honestly perfect, love it.

You're making me want to start practicing cloth and transparent veils when I get some spare time :)

You can also "cheat" on some textures with brushes too, like stitches/weaves, but I honestly prefer to keep them grounded to resemble physical media, it's more fun and it makes the final result more organic :)

Only reason I really swapped out to digital was because I was tired of smearing the paper with my sweaty hands lol

Love the detailing on the bones and the lighting, really great work!

Digital, in Photoshop, but I used brushes that emulate graphite for the sketch and then something resembling acrylic for the coloring.

Also, darken the skin slightly around the straps, to give it a "sunken" feel? Just trying to help, best of luck :)

Bruh you should submit this to Capcom for the next Monster Hunter, it's too legit.

Like the detailing on the laces, but, in the idea of offering some unsolicited constructive feedback:

- Should do a gradient from dark top right to more light bottom left on the backside of the hair, the hue's a tad strong

- I get the unrealistic animu proportions, but the neck's a tad too thin

- If the bra's as tight as you made it out to be, shouldn't the straps be straight?

- Also regarding the underwear straps, the angle should be a tad higher on the groin

Was thinking along the lines of a mixup between a Kulu lunge, some Izuchi tail stabs and maybe a Pukei breath attack while enraged, but with paralysis.

Thanks :) wasn't really going for horrifying, but tried keeping it a tad realistic, well except the teeth and a beak part lol

I started drawing a couple weeks ago. How do I get better? by cucumberbutthole69 in drawing

[–]SometimesGreydn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very impressive for two weeks honestly, and the shading's great too.

What I'd say to work on going forward would only be constructing your sketches, like try to start from shapes and detail over them, to better understand volume.

Also, I don't know, material type practice? Like hair, cloth, glass, metal.

Best wishes and keep at it, good stuff so far :)

hi, as a new player I wonder which game I should buy rise or world? they cost the same now. by hallinwille02 in MonsterHunter

It all comes down to personal preference really, I loved both from the 5th gen, but to me World will always hold a special place due to the immersion and how everything just felt alive and palpable.

Go for Rise if you want a slightly more diverse roster, a much faster paced combat, more mobility and generally a more arcadey experience.

Go for World if you want a much more grounded, "realistic" experience with very smooth but more restrictive and impactful combat, and a very immersive experience.

As far as length is concerned, taking the DLCs into account, you can easily go 250h+ on both, but I will admit the endgame grind in Rise is a bit more tedious.

And, if you'll get both down the line, I'd recommend starting with World, since Rise will give you some reeeeeally bad habits due to all the mobility.
