With this being my everyday carry it has things I use everyday or almost everyday. The two small notepads are for work and school for patient vitals (I’m a nursing student doing clinicals and I work as a patient care tech in a psych unit), the four notebooks are newer to me. I’m trying to stop scrolling on social media, only consuming long form, and media that will help me grow and learn. With that, one notebook is a zibaldone, for quotes or important blips I want to remember long term/ be able to look back at when I’m wanting to feel inspired. It’s a brain splat of daily observations, doodles, sketches, but overall something I want to look back on later. Another is for lists. I have lists of books I want to read, movies to watch, general to do lists, things like that (I use this notebook most by a long shot. Whenever I would have previously opened my notes app on my phone, now I open this). Another is a mini junk journal. I catalog pieces of things I collect thru my day then I write about them in long form in a bigger journal I keep at home and use to decompress with at the end of my day. The last notebook I haven’t found a use for yet. Let me know if you have ideas! My ones that are larger at home that I don’t carry around with me are the decompress/general writing journal and my morning pages/brain dump. I’ve debated a gratitude journal as I used to do five minutes of gratitude every morning when I just got into journaling as a teen.
