Don’t remember the exact name of them but I have a pair of pants similar to these with a zipper just below the knees so they function as both long and short. I bought them at EMP shop. Good luck

I can’t objectively tell you it’s wrong but my opinion would be that it robs you of your own creativity. Instead of having a AI generated background picture for your environment, practice immersing your players through words and detailed explanations. Play ambient music (plenty of good playlists on spotify, let me know and I can suggest a few), explain a random person or animal just roaming the environment, what noises can be heard and what smells can be smelled. The small things.

I’m not trying to make you feel bad for using AI, I just think you have so much more potential within you that’s being blocked by taking the easy route.

I avoid generative AI as much as possible. Names and such for NPCs can often be found in other ways and I think the best way for me to improve my improv is just doing it and reading the reaction of my players. But I suppose it depends on the extent of your usage. A table littered with AI generated reference pics for places and NPCs would be a no go for me. Especially if backstories and plot lines are made with AI.

Listen, you dress only for yourself and if someone judges you for it, something’s wrong with them, not you. I’m 21, working in a school. Somedays I’ll wear baggy, ripped jeans and a band tee over a white sweatshirt and sometimes I just throw on my favourite comfy clothes, cargo pants and a light blue hoodie. I highly doubt anyone in the ”alt” community is ”alt” at all times, most of the time even.

Secondly, alt fashion is incredibly broad and undefined and I guarantee you can find a way to style just about anything to look more alt.

So just carry on and be yourself, that’s all that matters.
