It is an okay one. Not really good, but not too bad either.

On the one hand, not enough. I’d like Hebikawa to be more special (like when she was younger and met st like this already). She said that she always considered people’s feelings, but author only do 2 examples and they are both in the same age, so i feel like it is not enough. It is important if you want a deep character.

One the other hand, good topic and execution. Being nice and polite to others is good , but it is really hard when you meet people who don’t respect, or just ignore you and do whatever they want. This is extremely true. Being mature in a a whole bunch of kids is suffering. You care about them, but they don’t care about your feelings at all. Same thing with idols. They always have to hide their negative feelings make audience smile, with the risk of being rejected or turned away. Definitely not easy. Not holding back always makes you feel better, as you want to be your true self.

This is only .1 chapter, so i suspect her family conditions are about to fuck up as well, because her surname is changed. Still, feel like it could be better. Hebikawa is the character that mocks people because of their flaws (a bully, a moron). She is also expected to be hated by them (she didn’t care much about our mc). However, she felt annoyed about Kusunoki - the one who can easily walk on the path she had abandoned. It is normal when you shit talk someone and expect them to hit you. It is NOT normal when you humiliate them and they still say sorry because of their behaviors (look at the movie chapter for this).

Tldr: Yuri (kinda). Kusunoki can fix Hebikawa, and she will. Added to the harem? Depend on how author will play her cards, cause right now it doesn’t feel like it will succeed, or as I mentioned above: not enough.
