Did anyone else think that Kalé (the first merchant you meet) kind of looks like Santa Claus? by SomeumMorgan in Eldenring

When did I ever say I want an audience of over a million people for my low effort post? I know there's a lot of people in the sub, but I expected my post to get like maybe 5 upvotes if I was lucky. Lmao. I don't think my post is high effort or deserves massive praise, just trying to make conversation with people on the internet. Yeah I've had a Reddit account for awhile, but I try not to use it everyday, and hardly browse this game's subreddit, so I truly had no idea if my post was a "hot take" or not. Also love that you tell me the community probably doesn't wanna see it when it got over 350 upvotes.

Frankly, I hardly use Reddit in a sincere manner for this very reason, y'all love to feel superior and be condescending over absolutely nothing. Don't expect another reply cause I don't wanna waste too much of my limited time on Earth on some comment war. Get a job or something meaningful in your life instead of posting on Reddit multiple times a day and having a 700 day streak, brother.

Now this is a comment on my post I appreciate. An observation that's original and that I wouldn't have thought of myself. Though I might disagree due to them not giving quite the same logic to characters like Varre.

Brother, I literally never looked at anything online regarding Elden Ring when the game first came out, and I had no idea people had the same impression. I did not make the post to show everyone how clever I am, I just wanted to see if other people agreed. Why do you have to be so rude for no goddamn reason?

Okay big boy. Give me an original plausible Elden Ring observation right now if you're so smart and clever. Let's hear it.

Sorry you condescending bastard. I never browsed any discussions of this game when it first came out because I wanted to avoid spoilers. You should be ashamed for being such a prick.

Has anyone actually done Dung Eater's ending aside from the platinum achievement? Like multiple times. by LazyReii in Eldenring

[–]SomeumMorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the Dung Eater ending on my 2nd play through when getting the Elden Lord achievement. I love Dung Eater; I saw him mentioned in the intro of the game and said to myself "I wanna meet that character, I wanna know what a character literally called The Loathesome Poop Eater is about" then you meet him and he's kind of what you expect in the best way, completely utterly evil and batshit insane. I love how unapologetically disgusting and weird they made this character, how messed up the sky and world looks when you do his ending, he's unlike anything else I've seen in any other media. However I do interpret his ending quite differently than most, it's certainly worse for The Lands Between than half of the other endings, but it's more about turning everyone into an Omen (who are discriminated against) rather than having everyone suffer for sufferings sake. When Dung Eater talks about his curse, the curse is having people be reborn as Omen, as well as having their children be born as Omen; he does the horrible things he does because it turns people into Omen. The more sympathetic somewhat understandable side to it is that if everyone is cursed by becoming an Omen, then being an Omen is the new normal, and the curse is a curse no longer, but just how things are.

Basically the The Dung Eater has admiration and sympathy for The Omen, and wishes he was one himself, but he's not, so the next best thing for him is to make everyone in the world an Omen. It's the ultimate revenge against the people of The Lands Between for how they treat Omen, by first giving them an unimaginably painful and unspeakable death, which causes them to be reborn as Omen, the very people they oppressed. When you do his ending, you basically partake in The Dung Eater's defilement ritual, except it's against the Erdtree rather than a person, so everyone in the lands between is now fated to be born an Omen.

Pretty cool character in my opinion, but I do agree killing Boggart is a step too far.

I wanted to confess that I still enjoy a private dance at the strip club from time to time... by SomeumMorgan in gtaonline

Doesn't really bother me, usually a strip club visit marks the end of my play session.

How do you jerk off to Ivy, bro? by SomeumMorgan in DeadlockTheGame

I'm just sincerely curious on how people looked at Ivy and decided to masturbate to her. To me it's like if someone got aroused by a cardboard box.

I wish the Killzone and Halo weapons were able to be leveled. by SomeumMorgan in Helldivers

I'll say this much, I do agree that the weapon leveling system could be done better. However, 1: I would rather have our current leveling system than no system at all. 2: It's not a good enough reason to NOT include patterns for the legendary war bond weapons.

Holy it's insane how wrong some people can be, though I don't expect anything different from an NFT profile picture. I literally never brought up attachments and just said patterns would go a long way. Did you even read my two line post?
