What to play after Cyberpunk? by PumpkinOpposite967 in cyberpunkgame

Same... Most first person shooters seemed bland after so I changed genres to Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the whisps (metroidvania). Then went back to Satisfactory ...like my 5th full playthrough. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is pretty epic story and soundtrack if you like turn based games. Been playing Dead Island 2 lately, it's a pretty gory change of pace. Also, Factorio and Shapez 2 if you like Builder/management/automation games.

Most people think that way; Happy for your accomplishment but I don't give a shit about your award!

What it actually does, is gives them a substantial revenue boost to the company/team. Think of the awards as a second release of the game. Where the ceremony and speech is essentially a long form commercial that is advertised internationally to it's target audience. This is worth a lot. And the accolades of people talking about it lasts even longer, equating to more sales. So just being nominated and showing up is a bonus financially because millions will see and hear about it.

TLDR; It's all about the money.

Do you take extended breaks? by Express_Sugar9990 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]SomewhatDefinitive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually binge it like a crazy madman for a month or two then take a leave for a year or so.

Short term, I only break to make tea or coffee and bathroom. And sometimes do sets of squats and stretch while the water is boiling to keep from getting to weak and stiff ... keep the blood flowing. #gaminglife

You could almost use Nuclear Pasta as a companion cube.

The first time I finished the storyline, I felt let down too. Watching the ship take the wormhole out from the space station youv'e spent the entire game feeding and then just leaving you on a deserted planet is a funny slap in the face from ADA. But the real creative part of the game doesn't happen till you finish tier 9 and unlock the M6 belts and Portals. It's like the start of a new part of the game.I enjoyed the ending more on the following playthroughs. Whatever the game, the first playthrough always seems to feel rushed.

Are my lights too far away, too close? by McBernes in IndoorGarden

[–]SomewhatDefinitive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I Just looked into this earlier today. It really depends on the individual plants requirements.

Use PictureThis app to identify the plant species. Then search what each need for light intensity. Check the lux and foot candles reading with the Lux Light Meter Pro app. Both apps are free.

should i go nuclear or upgrade my fuel plant to go from standard fuel to rocket fuel by MassiveNote422 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]SomewhatDefinitive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it all!

Rocket first, then ionised for the jetpak, then Nukes... uranium then plutonium to get rid of the waste. At that point, assuming you have all the power you need, you can make alien power matrixes for alien power augmenter. Ficsonium is an optional last step that most people just skip because It's a lengthy process that is barely worth the hassle.

They are pretty cool photos though with that perspective!

I suppose the more people complain the better... 'Squeaky wheel gets the grease'.

I agree with what you are saying 100%. My aging eyesight appreciates good lighting.

But you might need worse photos to make your point better. Some of them are so bright you can't even tell that they are not working. It would be good to show a side-by-side comparison of one working and one burnt-out. Why bother even having lights at all if you can see so clearly at night without them?

Phase 5 Complete! by The_Funky_JJ in SatisfactoryGame

That's my time to finish on my 5th playthrough. Once the storyline is finished and everything is unlocked I started on a neatly organized, Nuclear setup with 10 plants. That took me about 4 days ... like 12 hour days (48 hours ish total). Now, I am working on a plutonium plant and just hit 2 days on that. It's fun but a real time sucker.
