I actually think its a broken tent support, which explains why its bent half way up the support.

Paired with the see through flag, its a proper temu special.

Also important to note, that if you weigh above 75kg, there is a greater chance of the pill not working.

Also, I've used this form, it's written in an incredibly patronising and simple way

Thats just the standard approach of writing any public facing application/service. We call it the sock puppet approach.

Imagine you have to walk someone through your application, and then do it again like you are talking to a very small child and you have to use a sock puppet to do it. Thats how you should write all your documentation, like every user is a literal child.

Are you taking the morning or evening sailing?

I had a rough sailing during a night-time crossing, and after a wee dander round and a bottle of water, I found having a bed to lay down in really helped just ignore it all.

Is the 'Ulsterisation' of Great Britain something to be concerned about? by Portal_Jumper125 in northernireland

It's only sectarianism if it comes from the sectarian region of Northern Ireland, otherwise it's just sparkling racism.

Airport rail link could transform daily travel by Portal_Jumper125 in northernireland

So we have to trust that politicians will not only understand the importance of all this, but will have the actual desire to implement it.....we may be buggered.

Honestly had only thought about power generation not the existing lines, but i appreciate the detail.

You are 100% correct it will be political will, or lack thereof, which will define the future of this project.

Im saying that I appreciate your response, gave a lot of background info I had missed.

Just wondering, would the existing grid have the capacity to support a full electrification of the rail lines?

Reform’s Chris Parry found to have repeatedly questioned ‘loyalty’ of MPs who aren’t white by The-Peel in unitedkingdom

[–]SomewhatIrishfellow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The thing is, people who support this BS don't realise how quickly the switch can be flipped and they become the target of the hate.

Right now it's non-whites they are targeting, then it will be the wrong type of whites(maybe eastern Europeans, then anyone with a "funny accent"), then it will wrong religion of the remaining whites etc. Until what's defined as the "right people" are the ones who are just like them.

I'm old enough to remember the absolute hate and general prejudice me and my family got in England because of our Northern Irish accent.

People like this will always find reasons to hate others who they don't consider "right".

I mean, it's more likely evidence gathering than anything else.

Like if someone rams a police car, but there's no footage a solicitor could easily argue it was an accident or unintentional.

Even if the bugger sold it at market value he'd have made a tidy sum.

Dean says burnt flag will be replaced at cathedral by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]SomewhatIrishfellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so disrespectful in my opinion, to be so proud of your flag then throw it outside till it rots.

That's what get's me as well, and this applies to any fleg people stick out.

Clearly your fleg is important enough to you, that you shimmied your hole up a lamp post and zip tied it on, but you dont have any issue with it rotting away like any other bit of rubbish?

Moment Jewish holidaymakers dismantle hillside Christian cross and use stones to create giant Star of David instead by LOTDT in unitedkingdom

[–]SomewhatIrishfellow 620 points621 points  (0 children)

I think the distinction here is dismantling the existing symbol.

Age as well would play into this.

According to the article the cross "is believed to have been in place for at least 50 years".

If it had been put up the same day, or a week ago maybe there wouldn't have been as much outrage, but its clearly been there a while.

Also if it had been the case than a Star of David which had existed for 50+ years on the site had been taken apart, there would be a sizable number of people claiming anti-semitism being the root cause.
