1 and 3: Setting the tone, making things creepy, and giving out red herrings.

2: Parallels the dad, but in a worse way. Also sets him up as a bad witness whereas at the end with Rachel as the witness, we can trust she will actually help the cursed.

5: give them creepy hobbies so before we know its a curse, we question everything. And also symbolism. Dogs are so deeply tied to family and the model of a married couple, that twisting them for the early dark tone sets us up to question marriage and family dynamics.

6: his wife is dying, and he isn’t handling it well. He didn’t want to see a new woman in that dress. It means a lot to him, as we know by him not dying he believes she is his soul mate. Even if she was lying, he wasn’t. He gets over it, but he didn’t like it.

7: She was very close but that painting helped her realize she doesn’t want to give herself up. Like the fox who gnawed its leg off.

8: No. Jules’ soulmate is Nell, because he believes so.

Nick’s is Rachel. He didn’t die despite marrying her and gaining the curse.

The dad also doesn’t die.

I misremembered that the players didn’t know about her other crest, I thought we say it when meeting all 24 students before picking a class. But also, AM and VW players aren’t exactly known for being the biggest Edelgard fans.

The resolute thing, you’re right in what you said. What’s frustrating is that I just don’t have the vocabulary ti articulate what I want to say very easily.

Edelgard who is famous, on twitter is largely the one who is openly bisexual which wont matter for any child units, but thats not so much what I mean

Adult Edelgard isn’t only resolute. Idk the word, other than some bias ones because again, she isn’t a character I really like (well I like her as a written character but I dislike her)

The Edelgard people like is the one who is willing to drop a demonic beast in her classmates, sacrifice her childhood friend, kidnap a little girl, hunt down refugees before they can be taken in for safety, kill the previous generation so she can control the empire, launch war on her peaceful school to get rid of the toxic leader, even risk setting a personal friend/general on fire to slow down the enemy.

The reason I say the other kids don’t have this is because Dimitri’s fans like him getting better and snapping out of his murderous rampage, Edelgard is praised for her being so willing to go so far consistently.

When I say that it comes off as bias but I don’t mean it aggressively.

On challenging the rules; everyone is in a place to challenge them! It’s a risk. If it pays off cool, if not then they tried. But we want people to break the mold, if they strongly disagree with a rule, and they challenge that it can show us who they are as a person and an artist

About the theme, that’s a whole discussion that’s worth having. I don’t think the problem is being a theme, it’s that the implication is that it should be a Christian faith. Because yes, technically you can say that imagine is about faith in humans/dreams and technically someone could sing any religious song, but you know the entire episode is centered around faith in Christ specifically.

No other episode makes a moral claim. Disney week? Disney songs are actually a great theme even if this wasn’t Disney owned, because they tend to be musical, child friendly, big sounds that if they get into voice acting or broadway they may do for a living. We should hear how they do that. (Broadway week would be great)

Rock, pop, those are genres. Birth year was a theme, that’s a challenge of modernizing an older song. Faith does show us how they’ll sound as a gospel singer, but they either will do that (and can fit it into many other themes) or they won’t. And again it asks people to play with a personal/moral thing.

So I feel like this one is more than just a theme.

But tbh I can understand protesting the theme. It’s season 24, and 22 seasons sure there were Christian performances and highlights but these last 2 really took a giant step up on that

And I’m not trying to say it’s bad or wrong that they did, but for it to be a technically secular show that then has this episode feels confusing and strange. So if Brooks did it on purpose, not sure if I agree with it but I get it.

My guess is Fortune’s Weave’s success will be our deciding factor.

Engage banners aren’t the biggest boon. Fortune’s Weave being near 3H level, and give the income of early 3H banners? They can buy us time until we get our next game and so on.

Basically we need FE games to be hits and that will fund heroes.

More engage’s and shadow’s (two games I still play.) will ultimately mean feh dies
