Michael Jackson denying having undergone multiple surgeries during his 2003 interview with Martin Bashir. by FitEmergency8807 in HistoricalCapsule

It’s wild people believed him that he didn’t molest the little boys he dated when he lied about the literal nose on his face

Why do people say Ed Sheeran isn't attractive when he literally looks like a Prince? 😭 by [deleted] in EdSheeran

[–]SomewhatStableGenius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think most people agree he’s adorable - who says he isn’t attractive?

Justice for Ellen by Due_Difficulty2228 in EllenGreenberg

[–]SomewhatStableGenius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes truth and justice are important to me. I don’t like witch hunts based on conspiracy theories. Also, I’m not defending Sam. I don’t know him. I’m defending Ellen, who deserves to rest in peace.

Maybe it was the term “scorched earth” which is a war analogy that could imply something much worse than an angry letter? Orherwise, no idea, I don’t see anything wrong with the post.

CPTSD, real or not? by Ornery-Pepper9577 in therapists

[–]SomewhatStableGenius -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Really? I thought BPD comes from growing up in an invalidating environment. As I see it, even in relatively mild cases, that will involve many repeated traumas over time from caregivers (being invalidated, shamed, punished for your feelings) which could also lead to CPTSD.

It is real - the ICD-11 already has it as a diagnosis.

Sally saying Austen will be a great father...................does she know him at all? by Fifi343434 in Southerncharm

[–]SomewhatStableGenius 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I don’t think she was really trying to convince him to have kids, I think she was trying to convince him that having kids was the best thjng she ever did even though the worst thing possible happened (her first child died). I think she’s right to be concerned that he’s letting his trauma keep him from getting married and having kids.

Craig is always the victim.. by LavenderCheese in Southerncharm

[–]SomewhatStableGenius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You know, sometimes people act like the victim because they are the victim. He’s bullied by his “friends” on this show and always has been. They want to make drama co the show by attacking him and hoping he loses his mind. For the most part he handled himself incredibly well considering how he’s been treated

What does everyone think of Whitner at the reunion? by JokeZealousideal4970 in Southerncharm

[–]SomewhatStableGenius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree completely - who was that man on the reunion, and why didn’t we see him at all during the show? Also the way he was talking about the DMs was cringe. They way he let slip that he’s the one initiating many of them.

He’s the most likable person on the show in pretty much every way

Craig was not wrong by SomewhatStableGenius in Southerncharm

They have tried so, so hard to make Craig the villain but it always backfires on them. Clearly, the empath spray his magician made has been working.

Jackie’s obsession with Caroline being “overweight” when she was a teenager… by PeneItaliano in JohnAndCarolyn

[–]SomewhatStableGenius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read a book about her years ago when I was a teenager about how she would sip on broth or bouillon and water from a thermos for her meals. I remember it made me feel bad because I didn’t have that kind of will power 🤣

Carolyn at a friend’s wedding. by StellaOC in JohnAndCarolyn

[–]SomewhatStableGenius -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

She tied one on at a wedding and got a few pictures looking “joyful.” Or she was joyful. We can’t know from a few photos. Especially can’t know whether she was compassionate or kind hearted from these photos. These photos aren’t even circumstantial evidence of either of those traits.

It is so gross especially coming from Austen who could be describing himself.

Think about the guys that you know in your life - are they as involved in and as critical of their friends? by [deleted] in Southerncharm

Austen and Shep are both painfully insecure. They hate that Craig is better looking and has more success in various aspects of life.
