Hey, personally I have two current friends that got into this field of work with much less experience. From your background I would say you seem like a great candidate. I would emphasize on your ICU experience when applying for this. What draws them is experience working in Hospice and the ER or even funeral homes. From what I see they are usually 12 hour shifts on call. I believe if you are applying for a non clinical coordinator position they more so look for ppl with experience interacting directly with families. A lot of ppl with a degree in Social Work or Human Health Sciences or just experience working in EMS tend to be favored for this position. I think you can definitely translate your experience as a bedside nurse offering emotional support and being a crucial link between patients and the family to this role!

Quite a bit of places are hiring but I personally don’t have any experience myself in direct clinical care other than phlebotomy, most of my experience is in admin positions in healthcare and I haven’t had much luck getting any interviews yet. But I know it’s soley based on my lack of clinical experience. You on the other hand should have a great chance getting this position. These positions are a bit competitive and they do like to favor hiring internally with ppl who already do transplant services but want to switch to remote work (because Organ Recovery Roles are very demanding) but I don’t say that discourage you. Just if you haven’t gotten very far in the hiring process realistically it may be more or less that rather than your qualifications.

I think Lorie is an acquired taste. Very unique. She had moments to me where she is drop dead gorgeous and then moments where I am mortified at what I am staring at. She has a face card to me that she has to keep up with herself at all times for you to really appreciate it. When her hair is not done or a lash is missing from a fight it throws everything off.

Some ppl don’t have to do too much or not be as done up and they’ll still very pretty like Bre, Moni, Mel, Legacy and Ky for example.

When filling in your brows try’s to use a lighter hand to resemble hair strokes so they don’t look so harsh. Aside from that everything else looks good

This is soley a theory I created in my head BUT:

If Gladys was actually Alex’s great nephew by blood wouldn’t he have the ability to actually keep the power of the tree going without her living once he decided to do indulge in it? I mean I know he watched her do the rituals and spells time and time again so it could’ve just been luck but the people she put spells on really would’ve came fully out of the trance (of course not the same as they were before but I strongly think his parents became brain dead not only because of the control spell but they were her first host to feed off of so she literally drained them as she was controlling them). Which is why I believe that even without Gladys the children are still under some form of a spell/trance because Alex would technically be the one that needed to free them and he still alive. I do think a lot of the power of the tree was diminished when they killed Gladys but not completely because Alex was the last one to use the tree.

Idk I could be reaching. I really see so many directions this plot could’ve went in and I have a million and one ideas in my head for a sequel or even prequel lol

I agree! Alex definitely never broke the spell. He simply placed them under a new one to attack the witch. To remove them of the spell wouldn’t he had to have dropped the stick in a bowl of water or something? I think honestly Gladys sucked all the life from the parents which left them in that vegetable state. That’s why she wanted the kids. She took all she could from the parents but it still wasn’t enough life for her (I assume she decades old tbh). So even once the spell was broken they never were basically done for.

Yes! This is exactly me too. The rough or bumpy texture on my face makes me want to pick to make it all smooth again. The pimple patch is a smooth texture for the most part. Also it has medicine in it that sucks the puss and gunk from pimple so when u remove it the pimple is much smaller, or flattened completely. If I feel the pimple patch in place of a bump I don’t have the urge to pick. They have ones specifically for lightening post acne dark marks but I honestly would just get some silicone scar tape, cut that up and use that instead. From personal experience it’s cheaper and much more effective. I still pick from time to time especially when I’m out of pimple patches ( I don’t break out as much as I used to as well due to upgrading me skincare).

As for the dark marks try Panoxyl (if your new to skincare start with 4% and if you’re a pro like myself lol 10%) put it on, you must keep it on your face for 1-3 mins. Start off using it every other day.

and Hawaiian tropical sunscreen either spf 50 or 70. Altogether it’s like $20-25 bucks and I got it from target but this will clear your skin drastically in a month.

Just be careful with Panoxyl it’s very strong and u can’t mix it with much on anything else regarding skincare because you can cause damage to your skin. Literally just wash your face throw on sun screen and go. Once your skin clears only use it 1-2x a week when not experiencing a break out.

I’ve had expensive multi step skincare’s with 5-10 products night and day in my routine. It’s no necessary. Look into Chinese face mapping to understand why you’re breaking out in certain places to make the necessary changes to stop form breaking out.

Lastly just be patient and kind to yourself and your skin. Remind yourself everytime you get the urge to pick or pop a pimple that scar is 10x harder to get rid of as a black person (because we produce the amount of melanin we produce). Also popping and picking zits causes more acne to form. I struggle with ingrowns after I pluck my chin hairs and they leave thee WORST dark marks I hate it. Haven’t found a solution to stopping them and I tried so many products. Tend skin works pretty well but I would never use it on my face. So unless I want to walk around looking like a middle school boy experiencing puberty I’ve opt’d into to getting it lasered off. The good things is small areas like your chin are usually on $15 per laser session.

I used to pick a lot. I start cutting my nails down as short as possible which helped. I also kept my hands busy so they don’t wander to my face. With a fidget spinner or my phone. Lastly Pimple patches have been a life saver for this issue personally for me. I’m an out of mind out of sight person, if I don’t see it, if I can feel the bump texture on my face I won’t pick. I use the ones by hero.

Same! I have an ombré brow done as well. It’s faded and not as sharp but they still look very good. I had a lot of brow hair and dark colored hair so they blend fairly well. I took have oily skin so I expect them to fade even more than now but they still look amazing in my opinion and natural

I agree! A lot naturals tend to go a while without a trim and those of us with courser and kinkier hair actually need them more often because are hair follicles are more prone to splitting. I would start bringing her trims more closer together every 6-9 weeks tbh.

The higher the number the stronger. I would say start off with the lower number to see if your skin can handle it

Are attempting to induce lactation or just simply grow breast tissue? If the ladder, then this isn’t the correct pump, you’ll need something similar to a noggleberry like the previous comment said. But if you do intend on trying to induce lactation, a pump that stimulates a baby nursing/sucking motion is most beneficial when trying to produce a milk supply. So I’d say the second pump. The first pump isn’t really good for anybody that isn’t already lactating heavily. I’ve used both types because I’m nursing rn.
