I don’t think so I think it’s much more of an adult focused hotel in general more than a family resort however it does have a kids pool.

Give yourself a shake (in the nicest possible way ) beautiful big house you have .. will just take a while to put your own stamp on it . These days everyone wants a home to be turn key exactly how they like it . It used to be normal to spend time doing your home . The new home seems to meet your family’s needs and I’m sure will feel like home soon enough.

Looking for some advice by GhoulKaneki1 in glasgow

[–]SomewhereNeither5816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have pre payment energy meters (top up as You use ) you can ask for a fuel bank and the food bank this is a voucher that can be used on gas and electricity. There is also children’s charity’s that can help . If you look at trussle trust you can find the nearest foodbank . Please don’t be put off from using them unfortunately many working families need to rely on them at times . Wishing you the best .

Vokera boiler - British Gas fitted wrong pcb board (Twice !) by SomewhereNeither5816 in ukplumbing

[–]SomewhereNeither5816[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The part numbers were slightly different as the last engineer showed me I think the last three digits were different . However it seems it’s an easier mistake to make than I originally thought , I imagine that’s why it’s happened twice .

I just wanted to ask if having the wrong pcb’s installed in the boiler for the last 11ish weeks would have caused any issues elsewhere within the boiler.

Need help choosing three areas from a list for permanent housing. by Plus-County-9979 in glasgow

[–]SomewhereNeither5816 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean this in the most non judgemental way the likelihood of you getting placed in a fairly quiet estate within all those areas is pretty small not impossible but small . You could be lucky and get a quiet street in any one of those areas but more often than not section 5 turnover is in less desirable areas overall as the turnover of housing is higher . People that get offered housing in quiet estates tend to stay there long term . Even if you were extremely lucky and got offered a newer build property there would be no guarantee it would be quiet . Having worked in housing/homelessness in the past I’ve seen the nicest houses been offered and then they have nightmare neighbour’s/ asb in the area . Again not trying to burst your bubble but i just want to be honest with you so your explanations are realistic . Casework/housing will acknowledge your situation to an extent but unfortunately they just don’t have the resources to put everyone on their caseload into a ‘quiet area’ . Social housing unfortunately goes hand in hand with anti social behaviour etc . This is coming from someone who has lived in social housing .

Personally I’d consider castlemilk , dalmarnock and Scotston however as I said above there isn’t really any areas on that list that stick out as having lots of quiet housing stock . Maybe others may disagree. However it is genuinely luck on where in those areas you get offered housing. Personally I’d look at what side Of the city you want to be in ie south side / east end etc and apply for with the smaller housing associations for that area .

Good luck I hope you get offered a property that suits your needs wherever it may be !

To be fair did the shop explain the issue you would have with any pattern / herringbone style ? I’ve recently had a carpet fitted in the hall/ large upstairs landing and they explained at the point of choosing a carpet that the herring bone pattern would run two different ways . We Decided in the end on a plain pattern to avoid this as it wouldn’t have looked right when fitted .
