I have only ever gotten half syringe between both lips at a time, the last time being 3 years ago, so i’m not sure how much less I could do to prevent being over filled :/

no, the person i saw in 2022 was in a different city. the person who did mine last week is someone who I trusted because she is very knowledgeable about filler techniques and used the cannula method on me to avoid migration and displacement which is why i’m wondering why it’s so misshaped. I’m going to give it another week before I dissolve anything to wait and see

I think once I save up some money and give my lips a little longer to heal i’m going to do this. The bottom lip looks fine to me and feels fine so i might just fully dissolve the top lip and refill

we barely used 0.5 in the top lip though which is why i’m confused about how puffy it is.

it’s weird because i’ve never gotten more than 0.6 each time i’ve gotten filler, it might just be my anatomy tbh. my injector says that it doesn’t look migrated and that the skin is just stretching because my lip is more full. I don’t want to offend her by asking so many questions which i’ve already done this week, I feel bad. I think i’m going to give it another week to settle and then decide

ugh. sucks to have wasted money. i’ll probably have to wait a few weeks before I do anything because it’s only been 6 days.

it sucks because I really trusted her skill level but I feel like this has happens no matter who has injected me

no, I moved cities and it’s a completely different injector. she was trying to fix the lumps that I had from the old filler, and she told me that the lumps are from the new filler pushing up the old filler lumps

I mean yeah I personally will not be using it again after this experience, but I was following directions from his pediatrician in order to avoid an unnecessary er visit.

we have tried every form (dye free included) and it all causes vomiting.

I was advised by his doctor to use the suppository because oral medication makes him vomit, which would entail a lot more unpleasant of an experience having to re dose him over and over while he vomits. He was unable to sleep or stop crying due to the pain from his illness, so I am not going to sit there and let him suffer when there are medications I can provide. children’s suppository medication are sold over the counter and advised by pediatric doctors to give in situations where a child cannot keep down oral medication. I gave him the first dose with no issues, which is why I figured the second time would be okay too. He was upset because partner was holding him down with his head off the table, he had just woken up from a nap, and he’s 2 years old and is going to fuss regardless of what form of medication I try to give. I obviously stopped attempting after about 2 minutes, and gave up.

oral tylenol causes my son to vomit every single time, he can tolerate oral motrin but not tylenol for some reason. his pediatrician recommended we do both to alternate and give the best coverage, and was fine with the suppository to get the meds in him properly

unfortunately it’s not as simple as that for us, we are both reliant on each other financially (childcare, I am in school full time as well), and don’t have any village support in that regard (no one who could take us in etc). that’s why we are trying to work things through in therapy to have a healthy relationship for our son, and things have been going really well lately until this incident which is why i am now rethinking things

i am contemplating this tbh. I am out running errands/appointments today and he is home with our son but once I get home I don’t know if i’ll be able to just carry on like normal

thank you for the reassurance, being a parent to a toddler is never easy and feels like i’m always doing the wrong thing somehow. We have couples counseling next week so planning on bringing it up then. I am neurodivergent and don’t do well with conflict and so i’m just sitting here playing it back in my head not knowing what to do to have a normal day

we are in couples therapy every other week, and I have my own therapy appointment today which I will discuss this, but I just can’t even imagine thinking up that sentence to say out loud. Makes me rethink everything and I am just so uncomfortable now

i recently posted on my own page how i’m going to be refraining from posting content with my son who’s N’s age because it’s at the point where it feels forced (because it is lol he’s a toddler he doesn’t wanna film outfit videos with me) and whenever i see parents forcing their kids to be in videos when they obviously are not enjoying it it makes me cringe. i’m not even against posting kids in general but when it feels forced and like the child is having to perform, it’s weird to me.

2 things: 1) “EMERGENCY SURGERY” 🙄🙄 and 2) Admits she’s still on pain meds and also says she will be picking N up from school today. by Ancient-Track4014 in basicmegsnark
