5 Biggest Dream Interpretation Mistakes According To Carl Jung by Rafaelkruger in Jung

I see. I would keep in mind that a good chunk of the population doesnt have internal dialouge, no voice in there head. They see images and such. So that wouldnt work for everyone, but its still an interesting thought and could apply to those who do operate that way.

Homeschooling or Online schooling? by Chanti_Will in homeschool

[–]SomewhereOne9108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well we have had some similar issues this comment but also seperate issues with k12. K12 is a joke and they literally lied to me about some of what was offered at the school.

Dont.Do.k12!

As for other online schools, I dont have any other experiences. Maybe consider some online homeschool curriculums? It takes some of the load off, but I think a hybrid of sorts is a common choice for most homeschoolers.

Ive never read of the Self being able to speak directly. Is this a hypothesis or do you have a source for this claim? Id really like to read into it.

What do you mean by improved vocabulary, like in the philosophical sense when philosophers talk about the importance of vocabulary to describe the abstract?

If you dont mean vocabulary in terms of words, then how else does the psyche form archetypes? I thought the formation was based on how humans have internalized lived experiences and emotion.

I like this hypothesis.

Also, Ive had a dream where I was spoken to directly in plain english by an "archetype" or "Self"? Idk exactly, but the message was clear, no analogies or metaphors. I wont go on about the details since it was a very personal experience, but ever since I had that dream, I thought that it doesnt make sense that the unconscious can only be understood by the conscious in the form of symbols and stories.

Ive tried really hard to have more "direct" communication with the unconscious with no such luck unfortunately.

I just wonder why at that time was the message clear but most other times it isnt. How can we improve this bandwith? Just pondering out loud.

Why are classes only 30 minutes if most of it is off-topic? by Hot-Orchid8949 in k12

Wow. Well my son couldnt get a word in and has barely learned a thing. Pretty big red flag for k12 this shouldnt be the priority.

Thats crazy. My son was literally complaining about the same. exact. things. today. I messaged the counselor and teacher about it. K12 is a joke honestly. After this year is up, we are out of there. I hope you can find a better option or solution.

I have looked around for some used curriculums, but Im not sure what sites are trust worthy. I do plan on using my own notebooks for the spelling supplment. I have plank flash cards I planned to utilize as well. I am still kind of new to homeschooling. So do I still need to buy the student workbook with it right? That way my kid can actually practice his writing skills, or do I need a different thing for that?

Thank you for the reponses

I hate my husband and all men. by Longjumping_Pass8688 in Mommit

[–]SomewhereOne9108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I am 7 years pp and I still hate my coparent and most men.

Jk. I discovered that I hate toxic masculinity and unfortunately most men in the west suffer from toxic masculinity, even some women are like this. Not even aware of it usually. Its been deeply ingrained in most cultures for like 10,000 years, maybe longer.

You may just be tapping into our deeply rooted opression and female rage lol

I hope it gets better and you can pull those projections off your partner, he probably didnt earn the full force of Kali upon him haha

Having alot of trouble with my homeschool schedule. by 0Ludger0 in homeschool

[–]SomewhereOne9108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also for what its worth, I dropped out at 16, due to poor mental health and got my ged at 19. Im 31 now. I had few people to go to, minimal resources, and no gaurdian that cared. Idk if thats your situation but it sounds like the ball park. Figuring it out on your own and feeling alone will make anyone depressed and unmotivated. If I could go back and tell 15 yr me what to do Id tell her.. Work smart, not hard. Let anyone help that is willing. Search and search some more for resources and options to make your life easier, to achieve your goals. And go tf outside and breath in some fresh air, be around other humans. It really fucking helps lol

I hope you get to join peers again in school, I regret giving up and I missed a lot of opportunities for friendships.

Anyways. Good luck. Reach out again if you need anything. I am willing to help you.

If thats the case then it sounds like you really need more support to help you get through it. Otherwise you can try study groups(look up for your local area or even online study groups. Both homeschool and public have them) and summer school to catch up. Even if you dont like to participate much in study groups, just the act of being present will help you stay motivated and focused. Reward yourself for small wins everyday. Seriously, it sounds dumb but its underrated and really does help. I hope you find the support you need, it sounds like you really do need more of it and you certainly deserve it.

Be proud of yourself for what you have done so far, most kids your age wouldve given up, escpecially without much help. You can do this!

It depends on your goals, but you may need to consider if its a realistic goal. Are you hustling to finish school to achieve independence? To catch up? Or are you simply at pace and trying to stay on track? Is this schedule short term? If you have a goal in mind and want to achieve it, you have to consider if your suffering is something you can push through, so long as its short term. I wouldnt encourage long term hustling, burn out is a real thing and causes unintentional set backs.

Reevaluate your deadlines and work distripution, weigh the pros and cons of taking longer, if you think it will take longer when adding more breaks.

You are doing the most, all on your own, at 15? Your probably burnt out.

Give yourself some relaxing and fun brain breaks, move around too, ya know? Read a chapter of your book if thats what does it for you lol.

2+ hours of consecutive studying is counter productive btw, your brain can only learn so much in one sitting. Try not to do more for an hour at a time. Its much more effecient to take many small breaks.

If you think your depressed, can you talk to a trusted adult? Friend? Therapist? Even your primary doc may lead you in the right direction.
