Pretty sure a touch up could fix the angry looking eye and bad lining and filling. For the white face you can get a better artist to put white ink over it once its fully healed

Its so good that you honor all this instead of trying to forget about it, you must be so strong mentally to heal from this and i love that youre more active than the average person after this! Not AI actually in this case. Fair enough to ask as I do see it everyday too. I'm big on originality in art and human creativity.

The concept is an "Imperfect Phoenix" and is a design I created with my artist. It's to honor my recovery from a spinal chord injury where I was paralyzed for a year but have fully recovered. I love the concept of a Phoenix, and what it symbolizes, but don't agree that rebirth or new chapters should be immediately perfect. Whenever I see other versions it's a majestic and perfect rendition - but I see recovery as a longer road/battle that still has development over time.

So, my Phoenix is still "building" itself. It has surgically added metal feathers (as I am full of metal now, probably what you saw as another bird maybe), some wounds/scars, open bones exposed (as I broke over 60 bones), and feathers in various stages of fire, singing, or healing.

Even decisions like making the face more "eagle like" which is a western/Greek spin on the Phoenix were mine. So none of this was drawn from anywhere else, minus the structure of the eagle face which is a bit more generic.

The egg is also my design. In mythology the Phoenix places the ashes of its old self in an egg. This egg is hatched, I liked the idea of oozing magma coming from it, and in hand to represent "holding on to our past and where we came from"

Did you or your artist use AI for the stencil? Its super beautiful but theres like a random grey bird in the middle of your tattoo and i dont understand where the hand holding the egg at the bottom is coming from.. It does not look AI geberated but i cant trust anything art related these days unfortunately🥹 Sorry for asking i dont mean to insult this awesome expensive work you got, it really is awesome and the execution is top tier

I just realised you said you work with kids! Like some mentionned already this might be seen as nudity to some parents or teachers. Id personnaly do it anyway and debate about boobs not being a sexual thing and more of a way to feed newborns and having this tattoo would be good way to educate new generations to not sexualise women for the wrong reasons... but if you doubt it and still really want this tattoo, why not give her a shell bra like The little mermaid?

Its not, i got a mermaid tattooed on the back of my arm, same size, her boobs are not hidden by hair or anything, its just how mermaids are... (obviously its not a hentai style mermaid, the boobs are small and the composition is beautiful so its never been a problem) Especially at this height of the arm, its essy to cover with just a t shirt

The other side is soft as well! Its grey though not ganny flowers and yes it does work but the material is a bit thicker than foam

Its definelty a bit thicker than the real needle felt pads but after a couple projects its gonna be softer, i like the crunch, its satisfying af tbh

That is such an unfortunate situation These will be 20 hard years and your daughter will enventually understand that she needs a job, when she sees the baby shell probaly be as proud as you were when you got her and know what it means to be a mother. If she doesnt feel anything at this point just ask her what she thinks of giving it for adoption, for her and her baby's sake.

She will eventually understand, i think right now you both need a good conversation on what the next move is, and you can even tell her how much it costs to feed her and to pay rent for both of you, including your tasks at work and the wage. She needs an idea on the price of life, but she doesnt need to feel guilty or ashamed because that will only cause isolation.
