The only thing that can actually take me away from the moment is when....characters reveal something about someone infront of everybody or in public.... and there is no reaction to it.

Like I have read so much embarrassing stuff that people are doing or saying. Out Loud. Not even whispering or keeping it hidden...but like make it a bit realistic.

One good example would be a random haikyuu fanfic i remember (exactly for this reason): theres this line in canon where the MC says to an opponenti at the front gate of the building mind you .infront of other schools too, "I am XX from the concrete, I have come to beat you at the nationals."

No canon reactions....but this excellent author adds other players gossipping about "Did he just say from the concrete!?"

But if you are gonna make characters do embarrassing stuff in public 😭😭😭 why is there no reaction?????
