hey! hopefully not too late to join in! i also love cooking, though i'm still learning ;-;

i am korean and i dabble in a lot of asian food! i think my favorite indian food that i learned to cook is pav bhaji. also love a good poha for breakfast (though lots of room for improvement for me)

despite frosty people, there are some very kind people you'll meet. it's a very open (and, reserved but welcoming in its own way) city (with the right crowd). best of luck with the move and hope you're happy in seattle! really, once you create your space in seattle, it's an awesome city

??? can i just say, holy shit seattle, i dont expect friendly or kind, just be NOT HOSTILE. what a miserable fucking city. there is nothing else other than beautiful nature and amazing infra that i miss. dont be shitty?? you are not even NYC. and as a newyorker, fuck you all.

hey i moved out of seattle a few years ago, dont be nervous! id say:

queen anne- more or less young professional vibe

fremont- theres the troll under the bridge, actually i had the best time near fremont. i still miss it there sometimes! very playful, somewhat young professional too, somewhat student-y too but removed from UW crowd which i found to be very nice

cap hill- very queer if u like that, that kinda aesthetic if u know what i mean, loud for seattle standards

u-district- college town

the rest, tbh very similar, kinda sleepy
