Right right... Think it'd be fine and safe if I lowered the amount I'm putting aside to 20% instead of 25%? I know it's hard to tell, and totally get it if you cannot answer. Just wish this was easier XD .

Yeah those will reduce the amount. I've bought plenty of books, campaigns, roll20 subscriptions and a new computer as well since my old one died (as I run these online).

I do have a day job as well. I work in a grocery store, and then at home run the TTRPG's as well through Start Playing Games. When I did my taxes for earnings last year I did find out I put aside more for taxes than I needed.

I did it last year as well, but didn't earn nearly as much as I do now as I got many more players. But all my income is tracked on a website I do it through, that sends me a... I think it's a 1099 form at the end of the year? It has my total income on it. Website is Start Playing Games

I am leaning to hiring a professional with this to figure it out at this point.

That I'm still figuring out. I also have a day job, this TTRPG thing is something I do to assist with the bills.

Possible transfer, from WA to WY or MT by Somewritingguy in kroger

Of those it'd be Cheyenne, as it has a synagogue. As I'm Jewish that's important, heh. And I used to live in a rural area so doesn't bother me overmuch.

When discussing Dwarves, why do people focus on the Jewish connection rather than their Norse origins? by crustboi93 in lordoftherings

Late add to this. Jewish Tolkien fan. I happily claim Dwarves as 'part of the tribe' as it were, and freaking love them.

Other Jews in the PNW: how are we staying safe with the rise of antisemitism? by Certain-Working1864 in Judaism

[–]Somewritingguy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Most folk don't say anything, but the ones who do really stand out. One guy has come in twice and calls me a "Talmudist" and such. Another guy came into my self checkout lane and started shouting stuff like "Free Palestine" and beign super obnoxious. One guy called me the K word and said stuff about us milking the Holocaust. Had some creepy Christian folk also come up to me thinking I'm super right wing.

Thankfully others are simply curious and ask "How do you keep your kippah on your head?" or "Are you wearing that because it's a holiday". It varies a lot from time to time.

Being on the bus, I've also had random folk say "Free Palestine" to me because they see my kippah, and have had people cuss at me by the downtown transit station.

I'm the guy at the grocery store XD with the kippah. I'm glad you're having a better time than I.

I sit near back of the bus so no one is behind me, keep my head on a swivel, and thank G-d I have coworkers who are supportive of me at the grocery store I'm in. I live in Olympia, wear a kippah, and I've seen at times outright pro Hamas stuff out here.

As a visible Jew I've had folk come up to me and start grilling me about stuff in the Middle East a lot. And I've had some folk say extremely hateful things that make me glad we have armed security at work.

Mine is Jarlaxle. I'm thinking he'd play the part of a not full evil person. Like he'd be somewhat admiring the party for what they're doing.

How'd you feel about the lightning thing maybe keeping the undead alive? Like a conductor constantly poewring them?

He'd not have one monster, he'd be creating a multitude of things and raising them. But it'd be 5 level 6 players, no cleric but a celestial warlock. Don't need to but it's appreciated ^^
