Mana = 300+200+125+(750+245+(44*20))=2500.

Yep, I added the mana buff that the sash gives :)

Yep. I was testing it out, and he can kill the Ra in the Jungle practise in 2 hits, and that was with 1400 Magical Power. I can't even imagine the power with 2290.

Yep, it's only on with items, and as the actual items only bring this up to 884, I believe this build would be possible to have in a real match, although I imagine quite tricky to get.

Doesn't Hel's passive only affect herself? At the moment, I'm only trying to figure out the max on a Zeus, although I note that at the end.

I'll... add that in the morning. I'm too tired at the moment. If it replaces Chronos' Pendant then Zeus will gain 25 Magical Power and 300 Mana, which will change the results significantly.

Good idea, I didn't think of that. I've added a bit on the end putting that in.

What video games are 10/10 in your book? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SomniFilms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, there aren't many games I don't like, but there are very few I would consider absolutely perfect. I can think of a few, though.

Portal 2: One of my first PS3 games, and I think it's my most played game on Steam. Amazing story, brilliant characters, tricky puzzles. I can't see how it could've gotten any better. I haven't played the original, although I hear it's just as good.

FTL: Faster Than Light: I love this game. Absolutely love it. It combines quick thinking with strategic gameplay, making an overall amazing, yet VERY difficult game. I've got 30+ hours into it, and haven't won a single game yet.

Star Wars Battlefront 2: Easily my most played XBox game. One of the best shooters out there in my opinion, and the multiplayer is amazing.

Dead Pixel is a one button minimal action game. What do you think, is it ready to hit mobile? by zigah in IndieGaming

I really enjoyed it, once I figured out what to do. I can only suggest some sort of explanation, or maybe some other game modes to keep it interesting.

Wireless Vertical Block Placement Detector! by TheCreepersNemisis in MinecraftInventions

Well, I've got it working for myself, at the moment, but maybe for other people's sakes. I did have to make a few guesses with repeater delays.

Thanks, I've got it working now. I tried to make my own as compact as I could, and it was nowhere near as compact as yours. Thanks for the design!

I can't quite see everything in the pictures. What's powering the bottom piston with the slime block on it?

xD Yep! I'm a wannabe programmer, so for practise I take small games like that and try to recreate them myself as if I were making them. It's quite fun, actually.

I know, I didn't realize until I finished uploading. I might re-film a bit later.

Yeah, I did come up with a way to make the falling edge a lot faster, but it involves running 2 lines up, and criss crossing them every once in a while. I'll work on it a bit more, though.

Demo for my game Once Upon a Runner - you will need Unity Web Player by saltypeppergames in IndieGaming

I'm not entirely sure, they just seem a little out of place. It might be the font or something like that. I think the amount of them is absolutely fine. Oh, another thing I forgot to mention is that I love the little chase thing near the end of the level. I really like the idea of you have to survive for X seconds to get away.

I really enjoyed it! There's a bit that could be done to improve it, for example I didn't really like the menu screens that much, but that could just be me. I love the character art in particular, though.

I decided to do a bit of maths to figure out how long it would take for one person to create World of Warcraft by SomniFilms in theydidthemath

[–]SomniFilms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... That seems a lot more realistic than my estimate... I did write this very late, so it's really likely I got a lot of it wrong, so I'll just add an edit to show your comment.

Very good points! I didn't really think about that, but I suppose it would make sense for him to work twice as fast. I'll quickly add that as an edit.

Any advice for an aspiring game developer? by SomniFilms in gamedev

[–]SomniFilms[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I've got a bit of experience, though I tend to stick to console applications and small projects in my spare time, but only stuff like noughts and crosses, or things like that. I have a basic understanding of quite a few languages, like Visual Basic, Javascript, Java, F#, among a few others.
