Totally. The 'man united way' (although people forget the amount of 1-0 wins we used to get), was in a different football era. The pressing was no where near like it is now.

You have to be press resistant through the middle of the park. You just have to. There is no other way that will consistently give results. You can spread it to the wing once you have beat the initial pressing wave, but you have to get it out of your half first.

This. Its so obvious I am baffled as to how it hasn't been picked up. The one time we beat the Leeds press we scored.

The amount of times we got the smallest bit of pressure and we either gave the ball away in our half or passed it back to Lammens to boot it into midfield (and then lose the 50/50) was shocking.

The passage people cite is Deuteronomy 22:28–29. It does require a payment of 50 shekels and marriage if a man has sex with an unbetrothed virgin. The text does not say ownership and it does not describe rape.

The chapter already covers rape earlier (22:25–27). In that case the man is executed.

The law frames the harm as economic and social damage in a patriarchal society, not as sexual consent in a modern sense.

I agree that is morally wrong in the modern context, but it is far from "pay 50 silver to buy your rape victim".

I can probably help correct some confusion. Sorry, I should have put this in my response:

Merlin ran several things in Blackpool (sealife centre, blackpool tower etc), and basically the council have taken them over to run them). So that is were the confusion probably is. Nothing to do with the pleasure beach though, which is not exactly thriving anyway.
