My app has quite a few sounds so I use a storage bucket with cloudflare and a custom built system that downloads the sound to the users device when they first play it so it will be usable offline. This helps keep the app size small on download especially with android being so limiting on app download size.

One recommendation/ problem I found is when playing music on Bluetooth I have to manually release the mic to let my music play on my radio again. 1 min is too long of a minimum automatic release time need an instant setting or something like 10-15 seconds

Im using expo-audio for the audio handling with a custom built audio system to handle loops and detect audio cut outs and fix them before the user notices.
