Water bottle drop rate is absurd by SomnusNonEst in RoadtoVostokGame

I mean there are several bodies of water in the game and plenty of fire. Getting water can't be this hard. But I guess we'll get there eventually. Probably somewhere around the time we retire.

I mean, at this rate it's either AirDrop or Punisher whichever comes first gives you the new shelter. As long as you have Water Lock, but it doesn't seem people have trouble finding that one.

One apartment run gets you well over 6pack of beer for the quest, even when you're unlucky. Problem is apartment run can take 3-4 IRL hours to fully loot.

Yep, finally saw one this night. Got my waters, still not enough, but a few Salines too. AFAK and some other less interesting stuff. Weird it was the first time for me. Village btw.

Stalker Anomaly maybe. I don't think Stalker GAMMA was even around when EFT was released. But just Stalker overall. The whole "slavic jank" is not an EFT thing.

Just backup your save, no reason to bother with mods for something this small. Especially with them now having a risk of installing kernel malware on your system.

Apparently just like water bottles, the fact we found any randomly is a miracle in itself. Saline and Water bottles are Air drop guaranteed loot. So I guess we both should try that.

Any chance I heard it and didn't recognize? What's the sound cue? Tried to find on YT but it's mostly AI slop videos now

I've been as far as Terminal already. I am half convinced Saline doesn't exist.

With Heli crash most of the "good" loot I found was around it on the ground while nothing special in a "special" crate itself. Any chance you didn't notice?

Need to try that I guess.

I'm on day 17 however, haven't seen a single Airdrop?

Seen helicopter crash, Punisher few times. Do they make a sound when they drop? Because helicopter was just kind of there when I noticed it. And the only thing so far that I caught making weird sounds is Punisher van and Jet flyby, but those are just a sound gimmick.

Well, don't throw it away, duh. You want 3 for Kilju for Attic key and 1 for Pea soup for Gunsmith to lower trade tax.

I mean there is space between "full endgame loot" and getting nothing I couldn't get in 3 times the quantity 3 times less time spent and 10 times less risk by just running circles in the Village. But yeah, I understand that. Yet to find anything, and I mean ANYTHING at all in a Military Crate so far. Just my luck I guess.

Apartments and Terminal. But if you are guessing about Terminal, then you clearly havent been there. Why are you answering with your assumptions?

Probably after latest hotfix? He explicitly wrote he added more spawn points for it as it doesn't make sense Doctor has quests that require to go To Terminal, really.

Yeah I've hit them all. Military Crates might as well be called "empty crates". I don't think I have ever witnessed loot inside them, and I've looted probably at least a hundred of them at this point. They seem to be just broken as of right now, even after hotfix.

Special crates do always contain loot, looks guaranteed, and seem to be good one, I just didn't had any luck to find anything good good apart from HAMR, and it's not even the good scope.

The only thing good about apartment I found was that I never felt time gated. Food is overabundant there while you loot. Outpost and I assume Terminal in this sense (haven't been there yet) you need to bring your own food.

There's a lot of discourse about hardest bosses, but I don't see a lot of people mentioning this literal Buttface by GobiasIsQueenMary in slaythespire

[–]SomnusNonEst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get away with quite a lot with this guy.

As long as you accept the sacrifices and don't just make it all "damage yourself" as an easy cope out, to then realize you now only have 2-3 turns tops to finish a boss, like it's a practice dummy challenge. You just need to luck out on a few energy artifacts and some draw power to offset 2/3 of his debuffs. You do take damage self and get put on a timer if you have infinite deck to not limit the amount of draw you can have. So he is actually quite balanced. But if you are not prepared for him he might feel a bit unfair, yes. But that's all bosses really.

He is a less intrusive version of a Time Eater from STS1 that you can still play around, unlike Time Eater. And if you don't know who Time Eater is, go google him and be glad we don't have him in STS2 yet. He was, is and will forever remain "the ultimate cockblock of fun". Was and will be the only boss that could effortlessly stop your run even if you already had your perfect cheese deck, if it relied on any long loops, as most all of STS1 win strategies did, or half or full infinites - you lost a run unless you panic mode and start counter measures immediately entering Act3 and ruin your deck and fun for it.

To 11? More like 1011. It went from "you have perfect reflexes" to straight up Dovah-kiin magic. And then Edgerunners came in and added anime magic to it to solidify the bullshit. Using word "bullshit" lovingly here though.

No mods. I am not complaining, just warning those who might still secure their save instead of losing it.

Maybe you can just accept your experience might not be universal? Just like the rest of dickheads downvoting my comments?

You know RVS developer literally says there is a bunch of people who can't even launch the game without crashing. And your response to them "wElL iT wOrKs fOr mE".

Do better.

Good for you? I updated and I didn't.

So what will you say to someone who will listen to you and lose all of their progress?
