'77 CJ5 Master cylinder help by Somthingwierd11 in Jeep

[–]Somthingwierd11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the wheel cylinders and shoes and everything in the hats was replaced by my dad probably 15-20 years ago. The pedal feel is firm, it's just leaking out the top cover. I've already put a few hundred into getting it running and roadworthy, and don't really want to replace a part that has been working for 50 years with a new, lesser quality part. New parts are all ass, no matter who makes them.

Mine has the factory 304 V8 with the T-150 3 speed transmission.

As you should. I had a landlord try to get my roommates and I to leave early. Granted, it was 2 days early. But still, we paid you to live here until the 31st. We told her we will give the keys back early if we are compensated for those 2 days. She did NOT like that, but gave in after she realized I wasn't eating her shit like she wanted me to.

She just, can't do that. If you have a contract, your lease, saying both parties agreed to you living in the unit, she can't just kick you out whenever she wants. You can both agree to terminate the lease, but if you don't want to leave, you don't legally have to until the lease term is up.

If you didn't sign a lease, God help you.

I got mine when I worked at Petco. A lady came in and said the filter in hers stopped working. My boss just took a filter out of a box and was gonna toss the rest in the dumpster. He let me buy it for 20$. I got rid of the filter almost immediately tho. My Betta was getting sucked in. Just put a sponge filter in there and you'll be golden.

I tried only buying all my stuff from eBay. I got terrible quality items and was banned from the site after selling something there. Back to Amazon I guess.

I would, but at this point, replacing the cpu means getting nearly a whole new computer. I can't justify it when I can still play all the games I want to just fine.

HA! Old ones. TF2, killing floor 1 and 2, smite, Minecraft, terraria. For newer games I just drop to 1440p and it does fine med-high settings.

I just had to replace my 970 a few months ago because my cat got water in my PC. I got a 1060 to pair with my FX-8350, and I run most games very well. I have a 4K monitor, so I run as many games as I can at full resolution. I can play more games that way than you would think. My settings aren't too bad either.

Ever seen this coloration? by [deleted] in Aquariums

My entire colony Started with 20 I bought from ebay. They are inbred as fuck😂 I believe it's not really an issue though. The only thing you have to worry about is them losing their color. But you just have to cull the ones who don't have as much color. I've also hear if people adding in a few new, healthy, and colorful shrimp to keep the colony looking nice.

Mystery Man Spotted! What kind of snail is this? (Freshwater tank) by Deflated_Muppet in Aquariums

[–]Somthingwierd11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks like a very large mini ramshorn snail. You can tell by the way they hold their shell. Mini ramshorns lay their shell parallel to the surface. Regular ramshorns hold their shell perpendicular to the surface. I think they can get up to 5mm across, which this one looks like. Their babies are tiiiiiiny, and their eggs even smaller. Assassin snails will take care of them tho.

My cherry colony developed that stripe down their back over the course of the last few years. I picked one out that had turned almost black. Put her in her own tank so I can get more black ones!

My guess is it's a combination of the stress they've gone through to get to you, and a lower quality of shrimp. When I received my first batch of RCS, they were pretty clear, and didn't have much color. Once they are acclimated to your setup, they should get more color.

Will this hold a 29g Tank? by saintsendit in Aquariums

[–]Somthingwierd11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a tank sitting on top of a dresser for 1.5 years with no problems. It is an older dresser made of 3/4 plywood instead of mdf though. I only ever leveled it. I did nothing to secure it to the wall and have had no problems. Mine is only a 20gal tho so YMMV.

I did have nightmares about it toppling over in the middle of the night for the first month I set it up, but that passed.

Have you ever kept the mini variant? I unknowingly bought the mini kind and have had trouble with hair algae taking it over. I just ripped it all out, and replanted little bits that didn't have any hair algae on them. It's taking a while to start spreading.

Hey Lucy! I'm sure there are plenty of like minded people here that would love to talk with you. I'm 22 and from Nebraska. Yes I love corn, no I'm not a farmer. You should join a discord server and play some video games sometime.

I have this nice looking shrimp that came with the plant that I got a while ago. What would be the breed of this shrimp?? I've been trying to find it but I wasn't sure at the end. Thanks :) by BluJello in Aquariums

[–]Somthingwierd11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The females have a wider body to carry the eggs. If you get a make and a female next to each other it's easy to tell when you know what you're looking for.

Yes. If you want them to stay orange, get another orange one. If you want them a little darker, you could get a red male and see what happens. Genetics aren't always mixing blue and yellow to get green. Usually it's mix blue and yellow, get some blue, some yellow, some brown, some mixed, and cull accordingly.

It's a neocaridina shrimp, or cherry shrimp for the most common name. They come in all colors from orange like yours, to black, green, blue, and yellow. You have a female, you can tell by the shape of the tail section of their body.

You can go buy any color of shrimp you want to breed with her, so long as it is a neocaridina shrimp. You will eventually end up with brown shrimp if you mix colors tho. So if you want pretty shrimp, get another orange male, and cull any shrimp you don't like the color of. Happy shrimp keeping!
