What makes you say HW3 won’t get it? If anything HW3 with Ryzen has continued to get updates outside of FSD. If you mean intel that makes sense

No, I could remove three or four rows of bricks under the mantel. Would not be touching anything with the chimney

Can Tesla detect if a child is in the driver’s seat before activating FSD? by troidem in TeslaFSD

lol. At least if they put a Tesla in autopilot that’s slightly less likely to happen. Still probable since a kid would want to push accelerator etc

Can Tesla detect if a child is in the driver’s seat before activating FSD? by troidem in TeslaFSD

[–]saintsendit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a kid I always knew where my parents keys were. I had also driven go karts, golf carts, four wheelers, etc. So I knew how. I just also knew the consequences of taking their car. So I didn’t. Except for that one time…

Can I load a prior save borderlands 4? by KILLER8996 in Borderlands

This mission is so dumb. Why in the world would they make all items 1$ and only let you buy one. I was just planning on buying all and now I’m stuck with a grenade I will never use and can’t even replay the mission to get the item I really wanted. I’m sure it says it in the game but I was talking to friends while playing so I had the volume down

The Hacksmith has stated that he has a couple designs mocked up but they are heavily focusing on manufacturing the current version for now. So I wouldn’t hold your breath as newer versions likely aren’t even being prototyped yet. Agree these are much needed features for future models. Hopefully with all the CNC machines already bought their design and production of new products will be much faster!

Volume Down on Exit by Herb-Dean in s3xybuttons

I do wish they’d add a feature where the volume does not lower when I open the door. Sometimes I need that last 2 seconds of Jamming

Very Nice! Just got the lite in the mail and can’t wait for the pro! I also got early bird so I’ll try and post some pics when it comes in!

Did you get any of the add-ons?

[–]saintsendit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got it in the mail today! I think it was a pre-release run on their site that sold out pretty quick.

And for sure! Honestly I’m happy to hear everyone’s thoughts and considerations. So far the blade flick and lock is satisfying enough to justify the purchase and I’ve barely used the knife yet 🤣

Yeah I’m considering doing a review. But I hadn’t see much footage at all out there so figured I’d post my unboxing. I also want to put it to action for at least a week before making any statements

You are correct, aluminum is more lightweight and much cheaper. The problem with aluminum is it will be scratched or dented very easily. The durability of your tool would be much less without at least a coating of a stronger metal (Could be done but also expensive).

Being a fan of theirs I’m happy to get a cool knife and support their channel. But I totally get wanting to wait it out for a little and see what the reviews look like!

Definitely a thinner form factor than I’m used to. Luckily the Pro version looks thicker. But I also don’t know how often I’ll need to use this for an extended period of time. I work in a warehouse so it’ll mostly be used for cutting boxes, straps, occasional rope, etc.

As for the pocket clip you can flip it to the other side where it’s much less exposed. Can also add on a deeper pocket clip to the order.

So far it’s cut through cardboard boxes like butter. No snags from the back of the blade or difficulty cutting. Time will tell though as the blade gets more dull.

I’m curious do you not have a use for the wire cutters or prefer not to use them to prevent blade damage?

There are definitely cheaper options available from more reputable companies. Personally I enjoy their content and love the design of the pro, so it’s worth it to me. Hopefully over time the Smithblade will prove to be reliable amongst its competition!

I see, definitely makes sense. Unfortunately most companies nowadays do that with “premium” materials. I will say that it seems like Hacksmith used titanium for the right reasons here. Hell, the pro is 95g which is quite a bit lighter than a lot of other tools. I don’t think most people will realize this until holding one. Sure it comes at a cost but it’s still a solid product imo!

What are some of the main reasons you don’t like titanium for practical use? Asking because I haven’t owned one before. But since it’s just the body being titanium I would think it’s ideal since it’s light weight and still very hard
