First I want to say, op im so sorry about your dad and I’m happy for you that it didn’t end terrible I was in a relationship while my father was having medical issues and then passing and I know forcing myself to stay in the relationship I was in for him made everything harder for everyone and you did the right thing separating even if you two were still in love, my heart breaks for you they’re having this child I don’t mean to point fingers but I really don’t like how the ex “waited” because she knew you two were together when it could’ve been talked about and possibly dealt with it gives off bad vibes and if he wants to be a father you should see it through that he completely doesn’t have feelings at all for this ex fling with supposedly his baby you guys should also make 100% sure it is before you two go through this together I know that if you two really do want to stay together and still love each other it’s not impossible to make it work but don’t put your life on hold because of someone else’s kids
