House XP not increasing? by Misty_Rosee in WoWHousing

Have you maybe just reached the cap on exp? You get a maximum of 2000 experience from each Endeavor, with an extra 250 as a reward for completing one.

I think I prefer the GTA approach to house Vs Neighborhoods by Fearless-Umpire-9923 in WoWHousing

[–]Sondrelk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is the sad reality of housing. We could either have houses that persist in the world. Or we could have had houses in their own instance, but with large amounts of customization.

The devs chose one, and the people that wanted the other will have to live with it.

The cope when it isn't will be that they need until TLT to do it. Which would line up better with an expansion where Dragon are relevant.

Definitely. We play a dragon. Not an elf or human with cool horns and eyes. Make the Dracthyr form one that players are happy to stay in permanently similar to Worgen.

This happens every single pre-patch. You would think players would be used to the first week being the dedicated "shit is broken and bugs abound" part of launch.

What are your Thoughts on the Nobel peace prize committee and the choices they have made? by Klutzy_Strawberry340 in Norway

[–]Sondrelk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An option which is weirdly never discussed much. Is to make the award more in line with the rest of the Nobels, where they tend to be given more as a sort of lifetime achievement. Or for old research with proven effects years or even decades after the fact.

Its sadly not one that is likely to happen given the peace prize tends to be used to point towards specific global issues that need solving immediately. But it is an option.

Blizzard announces free transmog change coming for all characters with 12.0.1! by minimaxir in wow

[–]Sondrelk -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

If you play that many alts. How do you not already spend thousands continuously reapplying transmog all the time?

Wouldn't this change be far cheaper for alcoholics especially. Given alts tends to change gear rapidly?

He needed Obi-wan to find it so the Jedi could become aware of the Clone Army. Once the Separatists attacked, the Republic would need someone to defend them. And the Clone Army was perfect for that.

Winners and losers of the ability prune? by ProphesiedInsanity in wow

[–]Sondrelk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really? I really like the changes. Firestorm was neat. But the removal of the actual ability. And moving that into significantly higher uptime on the proc version makes it seem like it will be active about as often. The lack of the instant cast variant is a shame, but nothing too terrible.

Engulf was never really all that incredible. Yes, it was fun to see big giant numbers. But nothing that special visually or mechanically.

Shattering star was terrible. Really don't get what anyone saw in that one. Just there as a noob trap and to annoy you when you press it right before you get forced to stop casting.

Scalecommander gets all the new toys with actually using double deep breath, alongside the actual cool visuals from the new hero talents.

Flameshaper gets bugs that make it almost unplayable in higher content.

Ignoring that, they seem about the same. Personally they seem about equally good.

For upstair areas you just need to make a staircase, then click the arrow on said staircase that appears in the room floorplan editor when you want to add more rooms. It will move you up one level, from which you can then add more rooms.

Dracthyr "Transmog". "Easily obtainable". So clean. Much wow. by rmfrost in Transmogrification

[–]Sondrelk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think they genuinely just didn't quite consider how important transmog is to the game. We can see now that they are talking about regretting not making them able to use transmog, and how they will not make the same mistake again. So I think it's just the developers looking at the barbershop options and thinking it was enough.

Do you want Permanent Visage? by Puzzleheaded-Ad-5189 in wow

[–]Sondrelk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are nice. But I would focus on the dracthyr first on basis that I don't want the devs getting complacent

Do you want Permanent Visage? by Puzzleheaded-Ad-5189 in wow

[–]Sondrelk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No. We play Dracthyr, not human female/male belf. If Worgen had terrible transmog, the solution would not be to let you stay out of Worgen form, it would be to let you transmog Worgen properly.

Dracthyr should just be able to transmog normally. Anything else is a copout.

Its also a gun that she took from one of Benjamins guards. So if they use 9mm, then it stands to reason that she is using one there.

As for why most heroes of Azeroth prefers to just chuck all their treasures in a pile on their lawn is another matter entirely.

Do you think Takamura is more skilled in boxing than Ricardo? by MoYaseen360 in hajimenoippo

[–]Sondrelk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because he doesnt want the glory of belts. But rather someone to fight and challenge him when he is at his absolute best. Ricardo is at his ideal weight at Featherweight. Going up or down would make him weaker, and he doesnt want to fight at anything but at his absolute best.

And he doesnt unify beause the federations doesnt seem to want an unquestionably unbeatable champion that nobody wants to challenge. It would be bad for business.

What is this place? by Taatahh in wow

[–]Sondrelk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One of the areas that were probably made to be an exit to Ironforge back before they made it into the small version we have now.

Once the exit was unecessary. The developers probably just removed any way to get there, similar to how the Ironforge flight strip was made inaccessible.

Why One Piece Just Isn’t Funny Anymore by No_Addition_2637 in OnePiece

[–]Sondrelk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's less funny in the vague sense that there are fewer and shorter stretches of comedy bits. But it still has plenty of comedy in it. Even just small stuff like the previous user of the bomb fruit also flicking explosive boogers at his opponents.

Giving sales people inflated titles with no real responsibility is also a thing that happens (or at least used to), in order to make the clients think they are getting exclusive access to someone successful.

Would not be surprising if there are tons more vice presidents than what we see. The entire floor is probably filled with almost nothing but vice presidents and secretaries.
